🌍 *PYLI Project Successfully Completed in District Layyah* 🌱

We are proud to share the successful completion of the *Pakistan Youth Leadership Initiative (PYLI)* in *District Layyah, implemented by **Civil Society Human & Institutional Development Programme (CHIP)* in partnership with the *The British Council Pakistan*.

Over the project period, *young women and men emerged as climate leaders, designing and delivering * Youth-Led Actions** across 5 PYLI thematic areas fostering inclusive participation, community engagement, and sustainable climate-resilient practices at the grassroots level.

PYLI has strengthened youth knowledge, leadership skills, and networks, and established sustainable platforms such as *Green Youth Movement (GYM) Clubs*, ensuring continued youth engagement in climate action beyond the project lifecycle.

👏 A heartfelt appreciation to our youth leaders, community partners, district authorities, and line departments for their collaboration and support.

Together, we are *empowering youth, inspiring change, and building climate-resilient communities*.

🌟 **PYLI Youth Training Milestone Achieved!** 🌟

We are proud to share that under the **Pakistan Youth Leadership Initiative (PYLI)** project, we have **successfully completed the 6th Youth Training Workshop in District Layyah**.

With this achievement, we have **successfully executed all six planned community-based training workshops** in the district — marking a major project milestone!

Through these workshops, we have **trained 193 young women and men participants (aged 18–24)**, of LAYYAH district, empowering them with enhanced **knowledge, skills, and awareness** on:
💻 Digital & Global Citizenship
🌍 Climate Change Impacts
📱 Digital Literacy
🌱 Leadership Development

✨These young leaders are now better equipped to become positive change agents within their communities. ✨

🌍 Youth in Action for a Cleaner Community! 💪🧹
The Pakistan Youth Leadership Initiative (PYLI) is a three-year initiative led by British Council Pakistan in partnership with Education Above All Foundation’s Reach Out to All (ROTA) Programme, the **Prime Minister’s Youth Programme, **Higher Education Commission, **WaterAid Pakistan, **UNDP Pakistan, and local civil society organisations & public universities. The project aims to train **90,000 youth across Pakistan in Global Citizenship Education, Leadership, and Climate Action.
💚 As part of this mission, Civil Society Human & Institutional dévelopment Programme(CHIP)' trained Female Young Climate Leaders from Mukhlis * Youth Group successfully completed their Youth-Led Action (YLA) on Solid Waste Management in CHK. # 142/TDA, LAYYAH district.
🔎 identified garbage hotspots
🏠 Sensitized households on waste segregation
🗑️ Collected & sorted waste into Recyclables, Non-Recyclables & Biomass with SAAF SUTHRA Punjab
💡 Result: 25 Kg of Solid Waste responsibly handed over to SAAF SUTHRA Punjab team for proper disposal, Cleaner streets, active youth participation & inspired community members! ✨

🌱 **Pakistan Youth Leadership Initiative (PYLI) – Noshehra, Layyah** 🌱

The **Pakistan Youth Leadership Initiative (PYLI)** is a three-year initiative led by **British Council Pakistan** in partnership with **Education Above All Foundation’s Reach Out to All (ROTA) Programme**, the **Prime Minister’s Youth Programme**, **Higher Education Commission**, **WaterAid Pakistan**, **UNDP Pakistan**, and local civil society organisations & public universities. 💚 As part of this mission, our trained **Young Climate Leaders** from **Green Rose** and **Shine Star Youth Groups** successfully conducted their **Youth-Led Action (YLA)** on **Tree Plantation** in Noshehra, District Layyah.

🌳 **132 plants** were planted across various households, with active participation from **local CBO members, community stakeholders, and area residents** — including men, women, and youth — making this a truly collective effort for a greener future.

Today, our **Female trained young climate leaders (ITTEFAQ youth group)** under the **PYLI Project** successfully completed their **Youth-Led Action (YLA)** community drive in KOTLA HAJI SHAH district LAYYAH

💡 **Activities Included:**
✨ Awareness Session with local community
👐 Hands-on Initiative Drive for waste collection & segregation
✅ **Segregated solid waste** was collected and handed over to **Saaf Suthra Punjab Team** for proper disposal.

👏 We are proud of our youth leaders for taking this meaningful step toward a cleaner, greener, and healthier community. Together, we are moving towards a **SAAF SUTHRA PUNJAB**! 🌱🌏
