*Case # 1939: 𝐐𝐮𝐫𝐛𝐚𝐧𝐢 (Waqf Share; entire Meat Will Be Distributed Among the Poor) in Sargodha, Punjab*

Slaam, if anyone would like to contribute towards a Qurbani share, please let me know. I am personally arranging this Qurbani at my home in Sargodha and will supervise the entire process myself. The complete meat will be distributed among poor and deserving families.

There are many needy people around us, and this meat will genuinely be a huge blessing for them this Eid ul Adha.

We are collecting a total of Rs 300,000, which includes:

• Rs 260,000 — Bull cost (approx)
• Rs 10,000 — Shahzore transport expense (from Khushab mandi to Sargodha approximately)
• Around Rs 15,000 — Qasai/butchering charges
• Rs 5,000 — Animal food + meat packaging expenses approximately.
• Rs 10,000 — Operational cost (3.3% of total amount)

I will keep the entire process transparent with the donors, In shaa Allah.

Case closed alhamdolillah. Collected amount is 70k. Will give 20k to them as well for rashion or Eid shopping.

Note: the extra 17,900 is from another donor who asked me to distribute a Biryani Daig with Nestle Juices among the needy people like guards and foodpanda riders.

*Case # 1938 (50k loan on a poor widow, son of 25y died recently. Husband died this feb as well on 6th Ramadan)*

Slaam, we are collecting funds to pay the 50,000 rupees loan of a poor widow which she took for the treatment of her husband in Nov last year.

She lost one of his son (25 years old) in 2020. She lost her husband (70years old) in Feb this year. She only has 1 son (25 years old now), 1 daughter, 2 daughters-in-laws and 4 grandsons left.

They cant afford to pay this loan themselves. Son works as a scrap-dealer and he doesn’t earn much.

She has shared all the supporting documents, death certificates and medical documents.

*Case # 1937 (BS Nursing student, father is a Pak Army Shaheed, monthly pension is just 17,700, semester fee pending)

Slaam, we are collecting funds on behalf of an intelligent needy student of SUVASTU university (affiliated with DOW University of Health Sciences). His 3rd semester fee is pending. He paid his 2nd semester fee of 1lac rupees by taking a bank loan (loan documents attached).

Her father is a Pak Army Shaheed who died in a terrorist activity in 2005. His family is getting a monthly pension of only 17,700 rupees from the government which is not sufficient enough to cover their expenses. Therefore they cant pay the semester fee themselves.

We are collecting 115,000 for his 3rd semester fee and 5750 rupees for our operational cost (5% of target amount).

Slaam, we are collecting funds on behalf of an intelligent needy student who has successfully gotten admission into IBA on 100% financial aid (FA). But he has to pay the admission fee first to confirm his admission. This student has gotten 93% marks Agha Khan matriculation board exams and 90% in intermediate board exams.

Her father is a lineman (grade 6 government employee) who earns only 65,000 rupees monthly which is hardly enough to cover their household expenses.

We are collecting 125,000 for his admission fee and 6250 rupees for our operational cost (5% of target amount).

*The deadline to pay the admission fee is day after tomorrow so we’re very short on time.*

Slaam, there is a LUMS SSE FA alumni who is currently doing voluntary (un-paid) Research work with a Professor of NUST since past few months. He is working on his academic portfolio so he can get fully funded PhD scholarship at the US universities.

He has requested if we can help him collect 20k donations every month for 3 months (May, June and July) so he can leave his 2 tutions and give more time to his research work. He is currently giving 3 tutions to manage his and his family (a sister and a mother) expenses. His father is deceased.

*Case # 1932 (College student, mother deceased, guardian died recently, last installment of 28k unpaid)*

Slaam, we are collecting 28,000 rupees on behalf of a student of Superior College. He is in his 2nd year at the moment and his board exams will commence from 21st of this month. His roll number has been held by the college administration because of the last unpaid installment.

After the death of his mother in 2009 when this student was just 2 years old, his father abandoned his children and then his guardian (khalo) came forward and took responsibility of this student. All his expenses were covered by his khalo so-far. But unfortunately, his guardian also died because of heart attack last year and now his khala is facing extreme difficulty in paying his college fees.

This case has been sent to me by an alumni of Lums (irum) who knows this student personally. She has provided all the supporting documents.

Collecting 28k for his installment and 1400 (5% of the target amount) as our operational cost.

Her father is working as a guard (confirmed) at Rehman Garden (near bhatta chowk) since the past 10-12 years. His salary is hardly enough to cover their household monthly expenses. He cant pay his daughter’s fee from his salary.

He wants her daughter to graduate so she can support her family with a job after the completion of her studies. This case is zakat eligible.

*Case # 1930 (Floor Grinding Machine for a Foodpanda Rider, Zakat Eligible)*

Slaam, we are collecting 2lac rupees to buy a floor grinding machine for a *Ex-Foodpanda Rider* who is now switching his career because of high petrol prices. The petrol prices have gone very high but the foodpanda company hasn’t adjusted the commission amount on every order with respect to the petrol prices. Therefore, his daily/monthly earnings after deducting petrol expenses isn’t enough to sustain his monthly household expenses.

This foodpanda rider has now completely learnt using the floor grinding machine with the help of a Ustaad *(supporting videos as proofs are attached)*. He is now ready to take new home projects and start earning but he doesn’t has this grinding machine for work. He has requested if we can help him buy this machine.

Note: I will myself go to Islamabad and buy this machine from the Sunshine company. The machine will cost around 170-188k. And around 7k for my transport expenses from Sargodha to Islamabad (bus and indrive charges) and 2.5% of the target amount (5k) for our operational costs.

I know this foodpanda rider personally. We have helped him previously as well with ration and utility bills sometimes. *He is a hardworking guy but facing difficulties due to weak financial background.*
