Mr. Muhammad Saqlain Abbas, President of the Pakistan Coal Association (PCA) and Convener, Standing Committee on Mines & Minerals at the Lahore Chamber of Commerce & Industry (LCCI), held a productive meeting at his office with Mr. Nawaz Cheema, Chief Boiler Inspector Punjab, along with Mr. Sohail Waheed, Vice President PCA, Mr. Yasir Ilyas, Mr. Azeem, and Mr. Abid Ismail, Chairman of M/s IBL Group.

During the meeting, participants discussed matters related to the industrial boiler sector, fuel efficiency, environmental compliance, and the promotion of sustainable industrial practices in Pakistan. The discussion also focused on strengthening coordination between industry stakeholders and regulatory authorities to support industrial growth and improve operational standards within the energy and manufacturing sectors.

پاکستان کول ایسوسی ایشن کے صدر اور لاہور چیمبر آف کامرس اینڈ انڈسٹری کی اسٹینڈنگ کمیٹی برائے مائنز اینڈ منرلز کے کنوینر، محمد ثقلین عباس نے 5 مئی 2026 کو ایکسپو سینٹر لاہور میں منعقدہ آئی ای ای ای پی میگا انڈسٹریل ایکسپو 2026 میں بطور مہمانِ خصوصی شرکت کی۔ اس موقع پر ان کے ہمراہ نائب صدر سہیل وحید اور ایگزیکٹو کمیٹی کے رکن محمد یوسف بھی موجود تھے۔ اس شرکت کا مقصد صنعتی روابط کو فروغ دینا اور توانائی و انجینئرنگ کے شعبوں میں تعاون کو مضبوط بنانا ہے۔

ایونٹو سلوشنز پرائیویٹ لمیٹڈ کے اشتراک سے انسٹی ٹیوشن آف الیکٹریکل اینڈ الیکٹرانکس انجینئرز پاکستان (IEEEP) کے زیر اہتمام 4 سے 6 مئی 2026 تک جاری یہ نمائش ملک کے بڑے صنعتی پلیٹ فارمز میں شمار ہوتی ہے، جس میں 250 سے زائد مقامی و بین الاقوامی نمائش کنندگان شریک ہیں۔ ایکسپو میں جدید ٹیکنالوجی کی نمائش کے ساتھ ساتھ پائیدار صنعتی ترقی اور توانائی کے حل پر بھی تبادلہ خیال کیا جا رہا ہے۔

محمد ثقلین عباس، صدر پاکستان کول ایسوسی ایشن (PCA)، سے چیف بوائلر انسپکٹر پنجاب محمد نواز چیمہ نے ان کے دفتر میں ملاقات کی، جس میں صنعتی بوائلرز کے لیے مؤثر، کم لاگت اور ماحول دوست ایندھن کے استعمال سے متعلق امور پر تفصیلی تبادلہ خیال کیا گیا۔ ملاقات میں اس بات پر زور دیا گیا کہ بہتر کارکردگی، حکومتی ضوابط کی پابندی اور ماحولیاتی تحفظ کو یقینی بنانے کے لیے پائیدار اور جدید ایندھن کے استعمال کو فروغ دینا وقت کی اہم ضرورت ہے۔

لاہور: پاکستان کول ایسوسی ایشن کے صدر اور لاہور چیمبر آف کامرس اینڈ انڈسٹری (LCCI) کی اسٹینڈنگ کمیٹی برائے مائنز اینڈ منرلز کے کنوینر، محمد ثقلین عباس کی جانب سے نائب صدر سہیل وحید اور ایگزیکٹو کمیٹی کے اراکین کے اعزاز میں ایک عشائیہ دیا گیا۔

تقریب میں آئی بی ایل گروپ کے چیئرمین، ایف بی ایل گروپ کے نمائندگان اور دیگر صنعتی شخصیات نے شرکت کی، جبکہ چیف بوائلر انسپکٹر پنجاب، میاں نواز چیمہ بھی اس موقع پر موجود تھے۔

اجلاس کے دوران ایندھن سے متعلق اہم امور پر تفصیلی تبادلہ خیال کیا گیا، خصوصاً سالڈ فیول کے استعمال کو مؤثر اور بہتر انداز میں کنٹرول کرنے کے طریقہ کار پر غور کیا گیا۔

The meeting was chaired by Mr. Tanveer Ahmad Sheikh, Senior Vice President of LCCI, and attended by Mr. Muhammad Saqlain Abbas, Convener S/C on Mines & Minerals and President of Pakistan Coal Association, along with Vice President Mr. Sohail Waheed.
Executive Committee members Mr. Yousaf Iqbal, Mr. Muhammad Amin Butt, and Mr. Aftab Ahmed Munir also participated in the session.
The discussion proved highly fruitful, focusing on strengthening collaboration, investment potential, and sustainable development in the mining sector of Pakistan.
