Internal Review Meeting on NDRMF Annual Corporate Report 2023–2024

On 24th September 2025, Entertech Group of Companies conducted an internal review meeting to discuss and streamline the development of the Annual Corporate Report 2023–2024 for the National Disaster Risk Management Fund (NDRMF).

* Structuring the report for clarity, transparency, and stakeholder engagement.
* Highlighting NDRMF’s milestones, achievements, and nationwide impact.
* Ensuring alignment with sustainability and resilience reporting standards.
* Capturing evidence-based outcomes to showcase community resilience.

The session was led under the valuable guidance of Dr. Waqas Ahmed Khan, whose insights helped in shaping the strategic direction of the report.

This meeting reflects our dedication to delivering a comprehensive and impactful report that underscores NDRMF’s commitment to disaster risk reduction, climate resilience, and sustainable development across Pakistan.

🌿 Strengthening Water Governance through Nature-based Solutions 💧

On 12 September 2025 at Faletti’s Hotel, Lahore, Entertech Group of Companies—under the leadership of our CEO Dr. Waqas Ahmed Khan, along with Javeria Khalid (Jiya Khalid Baig) and Abdul Rehman—was honored to participate in the Public-Private Partnership Workshop on Nature-based Solutions (NbS) and Water Governance, organized by WWF-Pakistan under the Water Resource Accountability in Pakistan (WRAP) Programme with the support of the UK Government (Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office).

This high-level workshop convened distinguished stakeholders from government institutions, private sector leaders, civil society, and development partners to deliberate on:
🔹 Innovative blended financing models for scaling NbS.
🔹 Strengthening public-private partnerships for integrated water resource management (IWRM).
🔹 Driving climate resilience through sustainable water stewardship.

Our participation underscores Entertech’s unwavering commitment to:
✅ Championing Nature-based Solutions to address Pakistan’s water and climate challenges.
✅ Building collaborative frameworks that bridge public policy and private capital.
✅ Supporting sustainable, inclusive, and climate-smart models for water governance.

🌍✨ International Day for the Preservation of the Ozone Layer ✨🌍

🛡️ The ozone layer is Earth’s invisible shield — protecting all living beings from harmful ultraviolet (UV) radiation. Without it, our health, crops, marine ecosystems, and biodiversity would all be at risk.

This year, we celebrate not just awareness, but hope in action. The Montreal Protocol, often called “the world’s most successful environmental agreement”, has led to the phasing out of nearly 99% of ozone-depleting substances. As a result, the ozone layer is on track to recover within this century — a global victory for science, policy, and collaboration. 🌱🌏

On 14th August 2025, Entertech Group of Companies proudly installed a Reverse Vending Machine (RVM) at the University Of Central Punjab Lahore, under the PLEASE Project – Plastic Free Rivers and Seas for South Asia, supported by UNOPS and the World Bank Group.

🇵🇰 On the nation’s Independence Day, we take a powerful step towards building a sustainable and circular future for Pakistan. This smart technology is designed to:
✅ Encourage students to recycle plastic bottles responsibly
✅ Reduce plastic waste and promote a circular economy
✅ Reward eco-friendly behavior through innovation
✅ Contribute directly to climate action and environmental protection

This initiative is not just about recycling — it is about embedding sustainability into everyday life, inspiring youth to lead environmental change, and paving the way for a Plastic-Free Planet.

Entertech Group of Companies is proud to announce that we will be installing a state-of-the-art Reverse Vending Machine (RVM), in collaboration with ISP Environmental Solutions and the University of Central Punjab Lahore UCP, on 14 August 2025 under the PLEASE Project – Plastic Free Rivers and Seas for South Asia.

Positioned at a leading academic institution, the RVM will:
✅ Encourage responsible waste disposal
✅ Build recycling habits among youth
✅ Serve as a real-world sustainability learning tool, and in doing so, it will directly contribute to SDG 12 (Responsible Consumption & Production) and SDG 14 (Life Below Water).
