Empowering the Next Generation of Women Entrepreneurs

The Women Chamber of Commerce & Industry Lahore Division (WCCIL) was honored to host a truly transformative session featuring the renowned fashion icon and entrepreneur, MARIA.B. During her talk, she provided profound insights into the global fashion industry and the realities of building a sustainable brand, emphasizing that true career growth is a marathon rather than a sprint. Her journey served as a powerful reminder of the resilience required to thrive in business, leaving our members deeply inspired to scale their own ventures.

The event was a shining example of the strength of our community, graced by the distinguished presence of our visionary leadership: Founder President Dr Shehla Javed Akram , whose pioneering spirit continues to guide us; President Falahat Imran, who leads with unwavering dedication; and Co-Founder Qaisra Sheikh, whose foundational support remains vital to our mission. The executive team was further represented by Senior Vice President Mrs. Faiza Nabeel and Vice President Dr. Raheela Akhter, alongside a significant gathering of our esteemed Former Presidents and Executive Committee members. Together, they joined the discourse on how women’s empowerment remains the cornerstone of Pakistan’s economic future.

A truly special highlight of the event was the poetry book launch by our esteemed Executive Member, Ms. Saima Iqbal ( Soul Notes By Sam ). Her heartfelt poetry reflects emotion, strength and creativity, giving voice to experiences that resonate deeply. It was an inspiring moment that celebrated not just literature, but the power of expression and storytelling.

Alongside a successful Membership Drive 2026–27, the gathering brought together remarkable women entrepreneurs and leaders, creating a space for connection, collaboration, and growth. The energy and warmth of the event made it truly unforgettable 💫
