Kaarvan Foundation PRIDE PAKISTAN The goal of the Pathways and Purse String Program is to increase the income of low income homebound women embellishers across Pakistan.

Kaarvan is committed to promoting the social and economic empowerment of women in low income communities across Pakistan and offers its services and experience to partner organizations for implementing economic development and micro enterprise growth projects. In 2008, Kaarvan started work on a Value Chain Development Project: Pathways & Purse Strings (2008-2012) in the Hand Embellishments Fabric

Sub Sector as a Key Facilitating Partner (KFP) for MEDA (Mennonites Economic Development Associates). P&P Project aims to enable 8,000 low income homebound women embellishers to access middle/high-end urban national/International markets through creating linkages with medium to high-end markets and capacity building on product development & design, quality standards, input supplies, production management, and marketing
