Animals, just like us humans, are entitled to their lives, to be protected and respected. There are certain things that are morally wrong to do to animals, just like they are wrong to do to humans. It is sad to know that the only ones, who can protect these animals, are the one who come off as the biggest threat to them. They have often been neglected in our society for various reasons and seen as

lesser beings. The most serious issue at hand is the merciless killing of stray dogs and cats, which come into cities in search of food and shelter but end up getting killed by the so called authorities. Torturing animals only shows how miserable we are as people and as a nation. It is our collective responsibility to, as the best of all Creation, to look at the bigger impact of protecting stray and injured animals and setting up animal shelters to make them feel loved. Because if you dont harm them, they will love you unconditionally. Animal police intends to provide social services for stray, abandoned and injured animals. This page is for animal lovers and activists who believe animals should have equal rights in the world. It aims to provide foster care for animals by bringing likeminded individuals who genuinely care about animals, together on a single platform. Please spread this message as far and across as you can and do not treat animals as lesser beings.

🚨 URGENT: Animal Cruelty in Askari 10, Lahore

We are facing a heartbreaking and deeply troubling situation in Askari 10, Lahore, the abuse and shooting of innocent dogs, also referred to as dog culling. This is not only an act of cruelty, it is a blatant violation of basic animal rights and humanity.

Animal activist Nadia Afghan, a respected voice for the voiceless and a renowned actress is actively involved in the case, working tirelessly to put an end to this brutality. But she cannot do it alone. We need immediate intervention from:
• Authorities to investigate and halt these acts.
• Legal and policy advocates to hold those responsible accountable under animal protection laws.
• Concerned citizens and animal welfare organizations to bring attention, support, and resources.
Authorities to halt the killings and investigate.
Lawyers & advocates to enforce animal protection laws.
Media & influencers to shine a light on what’s happening.
Citizens & activists to stand up and speak out.

Points to be noted for this Eid 2024

1. Please make sure one animal is not sacrificed infront of the other, you have no idea what they are going through. Animals are beings as much as we are so let's imagine ourselves in a situation like this.

2. Make sure they are well-fed all the time, provided with water and roped under a shelter. Try providing them with a place where they are not feeling cold or tied in the rain or under the scorching sun.

3. Make sure their rope is not too tight for them and they are able to sit or lay while tied.

4. Sacrifice them as fast as you can while they are laid. Do not indulge in worthless debates or collect people to come and watch, once they are tied and laid. Avoid creating a ruckus as a crowd or people bugging/teasing the animal can scare them and create a havoc. Please take care of the sentiments of your animal.

5. Have respect for your sacrifice. Do not film it and share around as long as someone is not doing injustice to an animal.

6. Get an experienced "Qasayi" (Butcher) who knows his job well and please request him not to sharpen his knives infront of the animal.

7. Make sure you don't fill up your freezers with the meat, the meat goes to the needy and poor who can not afford it.

8. Treat your animals with love and care. Be gentle and kind towards them.

9. Share these points as much as you can, so it reaches everyone and they do justice to their sacrifices.
