Hajj Mubarak 🌙✨

A Journey Of Faith, Patience, And Complete Submission To Allah - May Every Dua Be Accepted And Every Heart Find Peace 🤍

As the CEO of Soha Foundation Helping Hands, I strongly condemn this horrific act of violence. No woman should lose her life in the name of so-called “honour.” Gullaan Bharo’s tragic death is a painful reminder that survivors of abuse need protection, justice, and safe spaces — not pressure to return to danger.
We urge authorities to ensure strict accountability for those responsible and to strengthen protections for women facing domestic violence and honour-based abuse in Sindh and across Pakistan. Silence against such crimes only allows this cycle of violence to continue.

Punjab has taken a major step against child marriage by passing a new law that bans the marriage of girls under 18 years of age. The law declares such marriages illegal and ensures strict legal action against anyone who arranges or facilitates them. Its main aim is to protect children’s rights, especially girls, and secure their future.
Soha Foundation Helping Hand CEO Soha Bukhari welcomed the decision, calling it a guarantee of a safer future for millions of girls. She emphasized that child marriage harms education, health, and mental development, and urged collective efforts to ensure proper implementation of the law.
The law is being seen as a significant achievement after long-standing efforts by social activists and organizations.
