Wain Foundation was established as a social purpose nonprofit organization focusing on critical areas of health and education, where there was a crying need to supplement the efforts of the government. Coupled with this, the Foundation also decided to focus on improving civic amenities in disadvantaged and marginalized communities through provision of clean drinking water, community bathrooms, arr
anging regular doctor’s visits and organizing social awareness program on health and communal living. To channelize energies and potential of the youth and to inculcate a spirit of responsible entrepreneurship, a state-of-the-art business incubation center was started in collaboration with the University of Sargodha.
Other initiatives like need-based scholarship program for talented students, mobile clinics to enlarge the footprint of health-related services, establishment of an immunization center at the main clinic, setting up of a clinic in earthquake affected remote area of Mansehra, etc are on the drawing board ready to be launched. The purpose of the Foundation is to help the communities help themselves, with respect and dignity.
