Introduction – AEGP (Part 3)

Introduction – AEGP (Part 2)
Every international association/society develop national groups (NG) for the regional/national level registration of members. Through these NGs, they charge a minimal registration fee and provide full access to their platform such as journals/bulletins, commissions, international collaborations, discounts at international seminars/ workshops and conferences and so on. The complete benefits of affiliation will be shared in the next post.
AEGP is currently the approved National Group (NG) of two international association/society
1. International Association for Engineering Geology and the Environment (IAEG) IAEG
2. International Society for Rock Mechanics (ISRM)
Currently, only the registration fee of IAEG will be charged, the details about ISRM will be updated soon.

Introduction – AEGP (Part 1)
On Friday 5th May 2023: the senior renowned engineering geologists from all over Pakistan sit together (in-person) and virtually through Google meeting to formulate the national group for engineering geology of Pakistan. They laid down the foundation of the Association for Engineering Geology, Pakistan (AEGP). Here are a few glimpses from the 1st meeting.
