A Humble Appeal to the Honorable Maryam Nawaz Sharif Chief Minister Punjab,Pakistan.
With profound respect, I write in my capacity as Chairman of the Sarah Memorial Foundation to humbly request the allocation of 30 acres of suitable land in Lahore for the establishment of the Sarah Memorial Hospital of Neuroscience & Research Center.
The inspiration behind this project comes from a deeply personal tragedy in 2020, I lost my beloved mother after she suffered a brain hemorrhage. During those crucial hours, her condition could not be diagnosed for a couple of hours and our family experienced firsthand the consequences of delays in timely diagnosis and access to specialized neurological care and gaps in healthcare system.
That experience revealed to me the urgent need to strengthen emergency neurological diagnosis, specialized treatment facilities and coordinated critical care services to neurological emergencies,where every minute can influence a patient’s chances of survival and recovery, families should not have to lose precious time searching for the specialized care of their loved ones require.
I could not change what happened to my mother, but her loss gave me a lifelong purpose,which convinced me to work hard in the United States,so that another family may have a better chance when faced with the similar emergency.
The proposed Sarah Memorial Hospital of Neuroscience & Research Center is envisioned as a State Of The Art institution,providing advanced AI neurological care, emergency services, modern diagnostic imaging & neuroscience research labs under the Foreign/U.S. qualified staff,Compassionate with particular attention to provide free healthcare & medical treatment for the vulnerable and underserved patients.
Our aspiration is to develop this humanitarian institution by 2030.
For the Sarah Memorial Foundation, 30 acres would represent far more than land. It would be an allocation of hope to a foundation upon which one mother’s legacy of compassion could become a life saving institution including Health Education for generations under your guidance and visionary leadership.
I therefore humbly request your esteemed office to consider the allocation of 30 acres of suitable land in Lahore for this noble cause.
With the help of Overseas Community and Support from the Government of Punjab,would be a transformative first step under your leadership toward creating an institution capable of strengthening neurological healthcare, promoting research, supporting medical professionals and serving countless families with dignity and compassion.
My mother could not benefit from the institution I now dream of building. My prayer and commitment are that through her legacy, countless other mothers, fathers and children may receive the timely care they need when every moment matters.
It would be an honor for the Sarah Memorial Foundation to work transparently with the Overseas Experts,constructively with the Government of Punjab and all relevant departments to transform this humanitarian vision into reality,it would be a great contribution for healthy and soft image of Pakistan.
