Alzheimer’s Awareness Session at Sheikha Fatima Institute of Nursing & Health Sciences (SFINHS), Shaikh Zayed Medical Complex, Lahore,

An impactful Alzheimer’s Awareness Session and Awareness Walk was organized at SFINHS, as a part of World Alzheimer's Month bringing together students, faculty, and participants to promote understanding, compassion, and awareness about Alzheimer’s disease and dementia.

Dr. Hussain Jafri led the session, sharing important insights and highlighting the need for greater awareness and support for individuals living with dementia and their families.

An awareness walk was also held to spread the message of Alzheimer’s awareness and encourage the community to stand together for this important cause.

Shields and certificates were distributed in recognition of the participation and contributions of those involved. Special shields were presented to Vice Principal Anjum Tanveer and the Principal Dr. Anum Fatima as a token of appreciation for their support and contribution to the initiative.

Together, let’s raise awareness, promote understanding, and build a more compassionate community for people living with Alzheimer’s and dementia.

Alzheimer’s Awareness Session at LCWU

An impactful Alzheimer’s Awareness Session was conducted at Lahore College for Women University (LCWU) to promote awareness, understanding, and compassion towards Alzheimer’s disease and dementia.

Dr. Hussain Jafri, Secretary General, Alzheimer's Pakistan delivered an insightful awareness session, highlighting the importance of awareness, empathy, and support for individuals living with Alzheimer’s and their families.

The session was organized by Dr. Saima Eman, Assistant Professor, Department of Applied Psychology, whose efforts helped make this meaningful awareness initiative possible.

An awareness walk was also organized, bringing students and participants together to spread the message of Alzheimer’s awareness and encourage a more informed and supportive community.

Shields and certificates were distributed among participants and contributors. A special shield of appreciation was presented to Dr. Hussain Jafri in recognition of his valuable contribution to the awareness initiative.

The event was held with the support of Prof. Dr. Amina Muazzam, Tenured Professor/Chairperson, who contributed to the successful organization of this important awareness initiative.

Together, let’s raise awareness, reduce stigma, and build a compassionate and supportive society for people living with Alzheimer’s and dementia.

Alzheimer’s Awareness Session at UCP

As a part of World Alzheimer's Month Alzheimer's Pakistan successfully conducted an Alzheimer’s Awareness Session at the University of Central Punjab (UCP), aimed at spreading awareness, understanding, and compassion regarding Alzheimer’s disease.

The training session was conducted by Muhammad Jafri, Information Secretary, who shared valuable insights on dementia and emphasized the importance of creating a more informed and supportive community.

A shield of appreciation was presented to Mr. Hammad ur Rehman, VIS Head, in recognition of his efforts in arranging and facilitating the session.

Certificates were also distributed among the participants to acknowledge their participation in this meaningful initiative.

Together, let’s spread awareness, challenge misconceptions, and build a Dementia Friendly community where everyone is treated with understanding and compassion.

We were delighted to welcome the team from PIFD Institute for a wonderful Art & Craft Workshop with our club members. The session was filled with creativity, smiles, meaningful interaction, and the joy of creating together.
