The former New York State Supreme Court judge was so impressed by these young filmmakers' skills that he treated the whole crew to lunch on the Poughkeepsie waterfront afterward!

The 2026 Big Read Professional Development Day will take place on Thursday, August 6, at the Adriance Memorial Library in Poughkeepsie, NY, from 8am – 3:00pm. This event is FREE for all K–12 teachers.
