We are proud to share that our Founder, Ms. Anum Tariq Khan , successfully moderated a powerful and inspiring session during the KOICA–UN Women Digital EmpowerHer Forum in Islamabad—an event that brought together innovators, leaders, and young women from across Pakistan to advance digital inclusion and women’s leadership.
Her session, titled Women Leading Innovation, highlighted how women are driving transformative ideas beyond their local communities and creating meaningful impact across provincial and national boundaries. The discussion featured three exceptional leaders shaping Pakistan’s tech and entrepreneurial ecosystem:
• Mr. Faisal Jeddy, President, OPEN Lahore
• Ms. Mahvish Ayub, Head of Strategy, NIC Peshawar
• Ms. Afshan, Founder & CEO, FastMove Packages
Their insights and leadership added immense value, reinforcing the spirit of collaboration between KP and Punjab under the umbrella of the **National Women TECH Summit**.
The two-day Digital EmpowerHer Forum, organized by UN Women Pakistan in partnership with the KOICA, brought together young women from Swabi, Mardan, Peshawar, Lahore, Multan, and Faisalabad. Participants had the opportunity to:
• Engage with national technology and innovation institutions including PESB, P@SHA, STZA, NICs, and SMEDA
• Participate in cross-provincial peer learning
• Strengthen digital skills, innovation capacity, and economic participation
The forum also showcased progress under the Digital Skills for Women’s Economic Empowerment (D4WEE) Project, which has supported hundreds of young women through digital skills training, policy dialogues, mentorship, and innovation showcases.
Together, Women In STEM Pakistan , UN Women , Unwomen Pakistan , in partnership with 한국국제협력단(Korea International Cooperation Agency) , celebrate women-led innovation and reaffirm their commitment to empowering young women to shape—and lead—Pakistan’s digital future.
