On this International Women’s Day, YPEER Pakistan celebrates the strength, leadership, and resilience of women and girls everywhere.

Young women are powerful agents of change. When they are empowered with knowledge, opportunities, and supportive spaces, they lead conversations, challenge barriers, and help build more inclusive communities.

Through peer education, youth leadership, and advocacy, YPEER Pakistan remains committed to supporting young women and amplifying their voices for a more equal and just future.

Representing Pakistan at the 13th Asia-Pacific Forum on Sustainable Development (APFSD).

We are proud to share that our amazing member Roshni Anwar, who is leading an organization - HER Space, represented Pakistan at the 13th Asia-Pacific Forum on Sustainable Development (APFSD), convened by the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (UN ESCAP) at the United Nations Conference Centre.

The Forum served as a key regional platform to review progress on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), identify implementation gaps, and strengthen regional cooperation ahead of the High-Level Political Forum (HLPF).

Through active engagement in the People’s Forum and the APFSD Youth Forum, our member contributed to shaping both regional and country-level Calls to Action. These recommendations aim to promote more inclusive, accountable, and youth-responsive SDG implementation and will feed into the global SDG review process at HLPF.

The intervention particularly focused on SDG 7 (Affordable and Clean Energy), emphasizing the urgent need for an inclusive and gender-informed energy transition that ensures no community is left behind.

We congratulate our member for amplifying youth voices from Pakistan at such an important regional policy platform.
