A Blessed Prayer Gathering with Kiln Worker Families
We are grateful to share that before the distribution of the water cooler, SHED Welfare Society organized a wonderful prayer meeting among the kiln worker families. It was a precious time of worship, fellowship, and encouragement as families gathered together to seek God's blessings and guidance.
A powerful and inspiring sermon was delivered by Pastor Akram Masih, who shared God's Word with love and wisdom, bringing hope, faith, and spiritual strength to everyone present. The message reminded us that God's love and care are always with His people, even in the midst of life's challenges.
We thank the Lord for this blessed gathering and for the opportunity to serve these deserving families. May God continue to bless every family with peace, good health, and a brighter future.

I visited a brick kiln to distribute a simple yet essential gift a water cooler. I thought that was the purpose of my visit. But sometimes, life quietly reveals a deeper reason behind our efforts.
Amid the dust, heat, and endless labor, I met a family that I cannot forget.
A father, worn by hardship, works tirelessly at the kiln not out of choice, but bound by a loan he took to save his wife’s life. She is battling cancer, and her treatment is painfully expensive. Every day, he stands between two impossible responsibilities: earning enough to feed his three children, and continuing the treatment that keeps his wife alive.
Five lives, tied together by love and trapped by debt.
Despite his relentless effort, the weight of the loan keeps growing heavier. Freedom feels distant. Survival itself is a daily struggle.
With quiet desperation, he asked if we could help release his family by paying off the loan giving them a chance to live with dignity, away from bonded labor.
In that moment, I felt the gravity of his hope.
I couldn’t make a promise. Instead, I asked him to pray because sometimes, faith is the only thing we can offer when certainty is beyond our hands.
But I left carrying his story in my heart.
Maybe the real reason I was meant to be there was not just to give water but to witness this pain, to understand it, and to share it with those who have the power to change it.
Today, I am reaching out to you with that same hope.
Together, we can turn this family’s silent struggle into a story of freedom.

Education is one of the greatest gifts we can offer a child.
To celebrate our students' success, SHED Welfare Society organized a sports session and distributed free school syllabuses to children who passed their annual exams and were promoted to the next grade.
We also provided food to the children, making the day both joyful and memorable.
Their smiles and enthusiasm reflected the hope that education brings to their lives.
These efforts help ease the burden on struggling families while encouraging children to continue their studies with confidence.
Some students are still waiting to receive their syllabuses, and we hope to support them soon through the generosity of our donors.
Together, we are nurturing young minds, strengthening futures, and creating opportunities for a better tomorrow. 📚❤️🍲

When the summer heat becomes intense and heat waves put lives at risk, brick kiln workers and their families face some of the harshest conditions.
Working long hours under the blazing sun, access to cool drinking water is essential for their health and well-being.
With the support of our generous donors, SHED Welfare Society purchased and distributed water coolers to brick kiln workers and laborer families.
This simple gift brings comfort, relief, and protection during extreme temperatures.
Every glass of cool water helps reduce the risk of dehydration and heat-related illness.
Together, we are bringing hope, care, and dignity to vulnerable communities.
Thank you for making this life-changing support possible. 💙💧

SHED Welfare Society

Serving Humanity with Love, Hope & Compassion

Our Mission

SHED Welfare Society is a registered NGO in Pakistan dedicated to serving vulnerable families, brick kiln workers, children, widows, and communities in need. Through faith, compassion, and unity, we continue to bring hope and practical support to those facing poverty, illness, injustice, and hardship.

Our Major Humanitarian Work & Achievements

COVID-19 Emergency Relief – 2020

During the global COVID-19 pandemic, thousands of families were left without jobs, food, and basic necessities. SHED Welfare Society stepped forward to support struggling communities.

We distributed food packages (rashan) to 2,500 deserving families.

These food packages provided essential items to help families survive during lockdowns and economic hardship.

Free Education for Brick Kiln Children

For the last 5 years, SHED Welfare Society has been running a free school for underprivileged children.

Currently:

60 children are receiving free education
Free school supplies are provided
Free uniforms are given to students

Our mission is to protect children from child labor and give them the opportunity for a brighter future through education.

Freedom for Brick Kiln Families

Many brick kiln workers in Pakistan live under debt bo***ge and modern-day slavery.

SHED Welfare Society released 25 families from brick kilns by paying their debts.

These families are now living with freedom, dignity, and hope for a better future.

Jaranwala Incident Relief Work

After the tragic Jaranwala incident, SHED Welfare Society provided emergency support to affected families.

We distributed:

Clothes
Blankets
Food packages

Our goal was to stand with hurting families during their difficult time and bring comfort and care.

Clean Water Projects

Access to clean drinking water is a major challenge in brick kiln communities.
SHED Welfare Society installed water pumps at different brick kilns.
These water pumps are helping many families gain access to clean and safe water.

Free Medical Camps

Healthcare is often unavailable or unaffordable for poor families.

We organized free medical camps in:

Tarangan
Mirpur

These camps provided medical checkups, medicines, and healthcare support to deserving people.

Life-Changing Medical Support

Uzma’s Story

A young girl named Uzma was diagnosed with a tumor in her chest. SHED Welfare Society supported her during this difficult journey.

By the grace of God, her surgery was successful. Today, Uzma is living a healthy and happy life.

Ameen’s Story

Ameen was suffering from severe diabetes and required surgery on his foot.

SHED Welfare Society helped arrange his surgery, which was successful. Although Ameen sadly passed away three years later, we remain thankful that he received care, support, and relief during his difficult time.

Homes for Deserving Families

SHED Welfare Society constructed 3 houses for deserving families.

These families are now living safely, happily, and with dignity while working to provide daily bread for their children.

Audio Bibles Distribution

Many brick kiln workers cannot read due to lack of education.

SHED Welfare Society distributed Audio Bibles to people who cannot read the Bible.

This ministry helped many individuals hear and understand the Word of God in an accessible way.

Together We Can Change Lives

Every act of kindness brings hope to someone in need.

SHED Welfare Society continues to serve humanity through education, healthcare, emergency relief, freedom for bonded families, clean water projects, and community support.

“Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.” — Galatians 6:2

We are filled with gratitude to share that, by God’s grace, we have been able to provide books, uniforms, and shoes to 20 of our precious students. Their smiles and renewed hope are a true blessing to witness.
However, 40 more children are still waiting—waiting for their syllabus, their uniforms, their shoes… and holding onto faith that their turn will come soon. These children are eager to learn, to grow, and to build a better future, but they need our support.
We humbly ask you to join hands with us. Your small contribution can make a big difference in a child’s life. Together, we can bring joy, dignity, and education to every child.
