Two years after losing his son in a tragic factory fire, a grieving grandfather came to us with his only grandson. He didn't ask for food. He didn't ask for money. He simply said, *"We don't even have food at home, but I want my grandson to receive an education."* Those words touched our hearts. Alhamdulillah, with the support of STREAM OF HOPE, his grandson has now been studying in school for the past year. He is doing well academically and has not missed a single day of school.

Shakeel is an orphan who, every morning, used to walk to a brick kiln in Maraka, carrying bricks in his hands and the weight of responsibility on his young shoulders. Earning just Rs. 470 a day, he worked tirelessly to help support his grandmother and three sisters.
Today, with the support of STREAM OF HOPE, Shakeel's mornings look very different. Instead of walking to the brick kiln, he walks to school alongside other children carrying books, nurturing dreams, and building a brighter future.

Waish Ali is an orphan child who worked at a brick kiln near Maraka, Lahore. After losing his father three years ago, his childhood was replaced with responsibility as he became a support for his two sisters. Financial hardship forced him to leave school and work at the bhatta instead.

After losing his father in a tragic bus accident near Balakot, Ilyas was forced to leave school and work as a shoe shiner to support his widowed mother and three younger sisters.
For four years, he sacrificed his childhood.
