Serving as acatalyst APWA spear headed volunteerism for NGO movement in Pakistan; APWA has always raised social and economic issues, Gender injustices and discrimination, inadequate participation of women in national issues and decision making. Some of our landmark contributions towomen causes are family laws ordinance 1961 and family courts act 1964.APWA was the active agent of change in the society and the sprit behind it the enhancement of Women’s status in 1973 constitution furthermore, Legislative and planning process of successive governments, APWA stressed the establishment of public private partnership under the official umbrella of the govt of
