Aitemad Research & development Organization (ARDO) was founded in 2011 as non-government organization with the initial aim to serve humanity, registered under the societies Act 1961... ARDO has a group of dedicated and committed workers to bring literacy in rural areas, improve poverty and health conditions of most neglected rural areas of Sindh, to improve the lives and well being of people. ARDO
envisages supporting a wide range of social services including Health, Education, Social Mobilization, Trainings, Capacity Building, Community Physical Infrastructure, Water & Sanitation, Livestock Development, and Emergency Response & Rehabilitation. ARDO focuses its efforts within the areas where have limited resources will produce the maximum benefits. Currently, ARDO efforts are focused upon the Sindh Province, Khairpur Districts. Aitemad Research & Development Organization believes in dedication, hard work, wise resource allocation and personal commitment to its objectives and will create an environment for success. OBJECTIVES: -
• To provide support and assistance without regard to race, religion or ethnicity. Our only criteria for support are the degree of each area’s or individual’s need.
• To establish a completely transparent fund-raising/expenditure process that is totally accountable to individual and corporate donors. This will ensure that ALL contributions are invested prudently in projects that provide maximum benefit at minimum cost.
• Identify and implement projects and activities to help people who are malnourished, in need of basic health services and/or cannot acquire even the basic essentials for life – food, clothing or shelter, and education.
• To plan, organize and conduct charitable fund-raising events that raise awareness of the magnitude of the problem and how we can help. These include Awareness Walks, seminars and workshops on epidemics and emergencies as they arise.
• Conduct research to determine individual and community needs and act as their advocate when required.
• Refer specialized philanthropic organizations to areas and individuals who need their support.
• Develop partnerships with other relief organizations to synergize our respective efforts.
• Ensure that individuals, partner organizations and institutions maintain the capacity to manage major emergencies.
• Develop and implement programs to improve community health and environment.
• Mobilize and sustain the inherent capacity of communities to help themselves through income generation activities such as handicraft sales, livestock development and education in other innovative agricultural practices.
• The Association/Society is non-political, non-commercial and non-religious.
