🌟 Embracing Leadership & Service Above Self 🌟
The Rotary Club of Karachi Elite (RID 3271) had the distinct honor of hosting the Official Visit of our esteemed District Governor, Shakeel Kaimkhani, on Saturday, May 23, 2026, at the Services Mess. This memorable occasion marked a significant milestone for our club, filling the atmosphere with renewed purpose, inspiration, and Rotary fellowship.
The elegant High Tea gathering was further graced by the presence of District Governor-Elect Shahzad Sabir, District Governor-Nominee Ch. Fahad Sikandar, Assistant Governor Ms. Shehla Datta, and District Secretary Furqan Ali Sheikh. Their presence added prestige and warmth to an already remarkable afternoon.
The event commenced with the recitation of the Holy Quran, followed by the National Anthem, setting a respectful and patriotic tone for the gathering. RCK Elite President Muhammad Rizwan Jaffar then delivered a heartfelt welcome address, warmly greeting the distinguished guests and appreciating the unwavering commitment of Rotary leadership toward strengthening humanitarian service and fellowship. His inspiring remarks set a positive and gracious tone for the afternoon.
An insightful presentation by Mirza Mukarram Baig followed, leading into motivating addresses from Assistant Governor Ms. Shehla Datta and District Governor Shakeel Kaimkhani, who commended the club’s progress and encouraged members to continue pushing the boundaries of community service.
The celebration truly reflected the spirit of Rotary through heartfelt recognition ceremonies. The District Governor was honored with a bouquet presented by Uzma Sahir, the Club Flag by Secretary Rosemary, and a traditional Ajrak along with an honorary shield by President Muhammad Rizwan Jaffar. Bouquets were also presented to DGE Shahzad Sabir and DGN Ch. Fahad Sikandar by Shabnam Akbar in appreciation of their gracious presence.
Special recognition was given to Foundation Chair Yousuf Aziz (received by Shabnam Akbar) and Azra Ali for their outstanding dedication and community service. The inspiring pinning ceremony conducted by the District Governor, followed by a gracious Vote of Thanks by Secretary Rosemary, beautifully concluded the event.
