Deuteronomy 6
6. And these words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart:
اور یہ باتیں جنکا حکم آج میں تجھے دیتا ہوں تیرے دل پر نقش رہیں ۔
7. And thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children, and shalt talk of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou risest up.
اور تُو اِنکو اپنی اولاد کے ذہن نشین کرنا اور گھر بیٹھے اور راہ چلتے اور لیٹتے اور اُٹھتے وقت اِنکا ذکر کیا کرنا ۔

10. Jesus answered and said unto her, If thou knewest the gift of God, and who it is that saith to thee, Give me to drink; thou wouldest have asked of him, and he would have given thee living water.
یسوع نے جواب میں اُس سے کہا اگر تُو خُدا کی بخشش کو جانتی اور یہ بھی جانتی کہ وہ کون ہے جو تجھ سے کہتا ہے مجھے پانی پِلا تو تُو اُس سے مانگتی اور وہ تجھے زندگی کا پانی دیتا۔ْ

17. These things I command you, that ye love one another.
مَیں تُم کو اِن باتوں کا حُکم اِس لِئے دیتا ہُوں کہ تُم ایک دُوسرے سے محبّت رکھّو۔
18. If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you.
اگر دُنیا تُم سے عَداوَت رکھتی ہے تو تُم جانتے ہوکہ اُس نے تُم سے پہلے مُجھ سے عَداوَت رکھّی ہے۔

7. Thou shalt have none other gods before me.
میرے آگے تُو اور معبودوں کو نہ ماننا ۔
8. Thou shalt not make thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the waters beneath the earth:
تُو اپنے لیے کوئی تراشی ہوئی مورت نہ بنانا نہ کسی چیز کی صورت بنانا جو اوپر آسمان میں یا نیچے زمین پر یا زمین کے نیچے پانی میں ہے ۔
