How DWF Engaged Karachi University Students for a Greener Pakistan | DWF 2024

In 2024, Darakht Welfare Foundation collaborated with the Department of Sociology at Karachi University for an environmental awareness and plantation initiative focused on youth participation and practical solutions.

Students were invited to share ideas on how plantation and environmental action could be improved. Around 50 ideas were presented, and 10 practical projects were shortlisted for possible implementation.

The program included student participation, speeches, discussion, recognition, and a shared commitment to turn environmental awareness into real action.

DWF is grateful to the Department of Sociology, faculty members, students, and everyone who supported this collaboration.

Our goal is not only to talk about environmental problems, but to involve young people, institutions, and communities in building practical solutions for a cleaner and greener Pakistan.
