With 35+ years of expertise, Forward Sports is the world’s leading football manufacturer, producing 1.5+ million balls every month and exporting to 45+ destinations worldwide. The company has produced official match balls for major global tournaments, including the FIFA World Cups.

Rajco Industries
With a legacy dating back to 1935, Rajco Industries is one of Pakistan’s leading sportswear manufacturers and exporters, supplying high-quality sportswear to global markets. The company has also manufactured kits for the Pakistan national cricket team, showcasing the strength of Sialkot’s sportswear industry.

The visit highlighted the immense potential of "Made in Pakistan" products and opened up opportunities to further boost international trade, innovation, and business partnerships with Germany and the EU.

On 8th August 2026 in Sialkot, GPCCI and the Pakistan Readymade Garments Manufacturers & Exporters Association (PRGMEA) signed a Memorandum of Understanding to boost trade and cooperation in the readymade garments sector between Pakistan and Germany.

Signed by Mr. Syed Nadeem Ali Kazmi, President GPCCI & Managing Director Siemens Energy Pakistan (Pvt.) Ltd., and Mr. Imran Salahuddin, Chairman (North Zone) PRGMEA & CEO Faaz International, this MoU marks a shared commitment to promoting free and fair trade, exchanging industry insights, and building lasting partnerships between Pakistani and German apparel companies.

On 8th August 2026, the German-Pakistan Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GPCCI) hosted its first-ever Business Networking Reception in Sialkot, bringing together government representatives, trade association leaders, exporters, and members of the business community.

A special thanks to our member, Mr. Ijaz A. Khokhar, CEO of Ashraf Industries (Pvt.) Ltd., Vice President of the International Apparel Federation (IAF), and Former Chairman of PRGMEA who hosted this event for us.

The Guests of Honor, Professor Ahsan Iqbal Chaudhary - Minister for Planning Development & Special Initiatives and Mr. Khurram Dastgir Khan - Former Minister for Commerce, Energy & Defence highlighted the important role Sialkot plays in Pakistan’s export landscape and its entrepreneurial legacy, particularly across sports goods, surgical instruments and garments.

GPCCI President and MD of Siemens Energy Pakistan, Mr. Syed Nadeem Ali Kazmi, praised the strength of Sialkot's industrial fraternity and its cohesive industrial body. Mr. Kazmi reiterated the fact that the Germany’s focus on quality and compliance is the guiding principle for all German entities whether German Global companies or SMEs. He also spoke about the activities of GPCCI such as taking delegations to Germany and supporting its members with information to and from Germany. GPCCI Executive Committee Member and MD of DHL Global Forwarding, Mr. Jaffer Hussain, also congratulated the organizing team for the wonderful Reception.

We were honoured to receive a special message by the Ambassador of Germany to Pakistan, H. E. Ina Lepel. As per Excellency, August was a special time since it marked a full year of her tenure in Pakistan. She praised the resilience Pakistan's business sectors showed in the face of recent disruption. Ms. Lepel highlighted the continued importance of Pakistan's GSP+ status for the German-Pakistan economic partnership, referencing the European Commission's recent GSP+ monitoring report.

The evening was a great opportunity to connect with Sialkot’s business representatives and pave the way forward for enhancing Pak-German trade, investment, and business collaboration. We are grateful to everyone who joined us and contributed to making the Reception in Sialkot a memorable one. We look forward to building stronger Pakistan-Germany ties. 🇵🇰🤝🇩🇪

🇵🇰 In the first 10 months of FY2025–26, Pakistan's sports goods exports grew by nearly 15%, reaching US$358 million, with footballs contributing over US$221 million.

🇩🇪 Germany remains a key market for Pakistani footballs, importing US$35 million worth in FY2024 and a 10.2% increase from the previous year.
