We were delighted to welcome the students of Speech and Audiology from the Department of Special Education, University of Karachi, to KIND-R for an educational field visit.

During their visit, the KIND-R management provided a comprehensive briefing on our services, rehabilitation facilities, and therapeutic interventions designed to support individuals with special needs. The students gained valuable insights into our rehabilitation services, patient-centered approach, and efforts to improve the quality of life of individuals with diverse needs.

At KIND-R, we remain committed to providing comprehensive rehabilitation services free of cost, ensuring accessible, high-quality care for everyone.

KIND-R was honoured to welcome Ms. Farah Yahya, a valued donor and longtime supporter of Helping Hand from Salisbury, Maryland, USA, recently visited KIND-R alongside the Dr. Syed Azizur Rab CEO, and Mr. Fawad Shamim General Manager of Greenstar Social Marketing Pakistan Limited.

During her visit, she expressed heartfelt appreciation for KIND-R’s state-of-the-art medical equipment, quality healthcare services, and the dedication and passion of its staff. She shared how witnessing the hospital’s remarkable work renewed her hope for Karachi and its people, highlighting the importance of providing free, high-quality healthcare to those in need.

🔥Fire & Safety Training Session at KIND-R

Karachi Institute of Neurological Diseases & Rehabilitation (KIND-R) organized a Fire & Safety Training Session today, led by Mr. Shahid Iqbal, to raise awareness about fire prevention, workplace safety, and emergency preparedness.

During the session, Mr. Shahid Iqbal highlighted the importance of identifying potential fire hazards, following essential fire safety measures, and using fire extinguishers correctly. He also emphasized the importance of knowing emergency exit routes, following evacuation procedures, and responding calmly and effectively in case of a fire emergency.

The session provided valuable insights into creating a safer working environment and promoting a culture of safety, preparedness, and responsibility among staff members.

عالمی یومِ ذہنی صحت کے موقع پر ذہنی صحت سے متعلق آگاہی سیشن کے انعقاد کے بعد، اسی سلسلے کو آگے بڑھاتے ہوئے KIND-R میں NARF Pakistan کے تعاون سے مفت ذہنی صحت کلینک کا انعقاد کیا گیا۔

اس کلینک کا مقصد ذہنی صحت کے بارے میں شعور اجاگر کرنا، صحت سے متعلق آگاہی فراہم کرنا اور مستحق افراد کو طبی سہولیات تک رسائی میں معاونت فراہم کرنا تھا۔

پاکستان میں ذہنی صحت سے متعلق مسائل ایک اہم چیلنج ہیں، جہاں کروڑوں افراد کو ذہنی و نفسیاتی مدد کی ضرورت پیش آتی ہے۔ افسوس کہ ذہنی امراض کے حوالے سے آگاہی اور مناسب سہولیات کی کمی اب بھی ایک بڑی رکاوٹ ہے.

آئیے اس عالمی یومِ ذہنی صحت پر ذہنی صحت کو ترجیح دیں، آگاہی پھیلائیں اور ہر فرد کے لیے مدد اور سہولت تک رسائی کو یقینی بنانے میں اپنا کردار ادا کریں۔
