The Adult Blind Centre is the oldest institution of its kind in Pakistan, working and rendering rehabilitation services to the visually impaired. The Centre is a vocational Institute, its main objective and purpose is to educate and train the Blind Adults in suitable vocations so as to enable them to earn their livelihood with dignity and honor. The Centre in addition to being a Vocation Centre no
w also works towards Prevention of Blindness. Following are the vocational programs being run at the Adult Blind Centre:
Compulsory Subjects :
1. Braille (Urdu, Mathematics and English)
Optional Subjects:
1. Computer
5. Spoken English Language
6. Sports
We are ever indebted to our Executive Committee, Donors, Friends and our Staff Members in helping us achieve our goal of a prosperous Adult Blind Centre, catering to the needs of the visually challenged people with better services.
