I wonder how quickly we started devaluing children and overlooking their rights as a society. How long it took for someone to tell the child wiping their car window to get away while having their own sit in AC’s comfort? How long did it take for people to realize that not all children are their own? I keep thinking of these questions.

It has been an absolutely delightful experience to witness all this. In a society where girls are only hidden and locked away in homes, to them having a chance to enjoy their childhood freely, has been a relieving sight to witness. In a society where boys are taught from a young age to stay at par from the opposite gender or to alienate them, it has been delightful to see that they are learning early on to see each other as humans first!❤️

To be honest, initially it felt like a hard task but the need of the hour made it easier. Now it’s a routine thing for me and my team, and we’re happy to develop that strength and bond with the place and community over time. Everyday it gives us more reasons to continue the work that we are doing!🤍
