Dr. Danish Aman, Justice of Peace and Chairman PTA-SZ, held a very productive meeting with the Inspector General of Police Sindh, accompanied by Mr. Adnan Zahoor, Chairman of the PTA-SZ Government Liaison Committee.

During the meeting, matters relating to law and order, security, and the business environment in Sector 7-A were discussed in detail. The Honourable IG Sindh assured his full cooperation and support in ensuring a safe and secure environment for the business community, enabling industries to operate and grow with confidence.

PTA-SZ appreciates the positive engagement and commitment of Sindh Police towards addressing the concerns of the industrial sector and strengthening collaboration between law enforcement agencies and the business community.

A delegation of PTA (S.Z) led by Chairman Law & Order Committee, Mr. Faisal Rasheed, along with Mr. Adnan Zahur, Chairman Government Liaison Committee, and Mr. Farooq Ahmed, Chairman PLGMEA, held a meeting with Wing Commander, Abdullah Shah Ghazi Rangers Sindh, Col. Zeeshan at his office.

The agenda of the meeting was to discuss the smooth flow of logistics pertaining to Raw Hides & Skins entering Sector 7/A during the upcoming Eid-ul-Azha season. In view of the rising temperature, the Association requested the Rangers authorities to facilitate quick clearance and movement of vehicles to avoid delays and preserve the quality of goods.

Later, the Association presented a crest to the Wing Commander as a token of appreciation for his support and cooperation.

It was an honour for Hamid Zahoor, Chairman PTA Central, along with senior member Shaikh Afzal Hussain, to meet with Jam Kamal Khan for a productive and meaningful discussion on matters relating to the leather industry.

During the meeting, various policy matters and proposals for the growth, development, and facilitation of the leather sector were discussed in detail. The discussion focused on strengthening the industry, addressing key challenges, and exploring avenues to enhance exports and support manufacturers.

The Honourable Federal Minister appreciated the contribution of the leather sector to the national economy and assured his full support and cooperation towards the progress and betterment of the industry

Mr. Hamid Zahur, Chairman PTA Central & Mr. Khawaja Liaquat Mahmood, Chairman K.E Sub-Committee PTA (S.Z) along with other Members of PTA (S.Z), hosted Mr. Naseem Jani, Regional Head, K-Electric, along with his team from various departments over lunch at the Association Office.

Various issues regarding electricity supply, breakdowns and other related matters were discussed in detail. The main purpose of the meeting was to apprise K-Electric officials about the upcoming Eid-ul-Azha season, which is the most important and busiest season for tannery members.

During the meeting, K-Electric assured that uninterrupted electricity supply would be ensured during and after Eid-ul-Azha. It was also decided that one mobile squad would be deployed at the Association Office to promptly address any unforeseen electricity-related issues during the Eid holidays.

Mr. Hamid Zahur, Chairman PTA – Central, hosted a Hi-Tea in honor of Mr. Zafar Rafique Siddiqui, Chief Commissioner, RTO-II, along with other officials from Regional Tax Office – Division II at the Pakistan Tanners Association (S.Z) Office.

During the meeting, matters pertaining to FBR were thoroughly discussed. The members’ grievances were attentively heard and addressed by the Chief Commissioner.

At the conclusion of the meeting, crests were exchanged between the Pakistan Tanners Association and the Regional Tax Office as a gesture of goodwill and collaboration.
