🎨 Introducing Creative Club at NICH | Week 1
A new space for creativity, expression and joy has begun at the Child Aid Association. 💛
Through Creative Club, children at NICH are being given an opportunity to step into a world beyond hospital routines, where they can explore their imagination, express themselves freely and discover new ways of seeing and creating.
The first week brought together a series of fun, hands-on activities. The children introduced themselves through art, explored colours and shapes through collages, created gift bags using old newspapers, and experimented with mosaic-style artwork.
One of the highlights was “This Is Not a Cloud,” where every child received the same simple shape and was encouraged to transform it into anything they could imagine. An ice cream, a face, a house, a papad, Pepsi and so many other ideas emerged from the very same shape! 🌈
Beyond the artwork, these activities encourage self-expression, creative thinking, perception, confidence, decision-making, fine-motor skills and social interaction. Most importantly, they give children the freedom to make choices, share their ideas and see their imagination take form.
Creative Club is more than an art activity. It is a space where children can create, connect, imagine and simply be children. ✨
This is just the beginning, and we look forward to seeing where their creativity takes them next. 💛
