Honorable Governor Sindh, H.E. Mr. Hashmi, met with Chairman PRCSS, Mr. Rehan Hashmi, at the Governor House. During the meeting, the Chairman briefed him on ongoing initiatives and the current situation. The Governor Sindh appreciated the activities and initiatives of the PRCS Sindh Branch and acknowledged the dedication of PRCS volunteers, noting that they are actively involved in all situations whether during rains, heatwaves, relief camps, or any emergency.

Mr. Rehan Hashmi, while briefing the Governor Sindh, highlighted PRCS activities, its ongoing projects, and a range of training courses focused on capacity building and strengthening community resilience. A productive meeting was held at the Pakistan Red Crescent Sindh Branch, where a delegation from the Rotary Club of Educational Development, including Jabeen Naveed, Waleed Ahmed Khan, and Naveed Abbas Adenwala, met with Chairman PRCS Sindh, Mr. Rehan Hashmi, to discuss the launch of impactful youth initiatives.

Pakistan Red Crescent Sindh Provincial Secretary facilitated a comprehensive orientation session on Disaster Management at Al-Kawthar University.
The session was attended by a large number of students and faculty members, providing a vital platform to strengthen their knowledge and capacity in disaster preparedness and emergency response.
The event concluded with a formal vote of thanks, followed by the presentation of a commemorative shield to the Provincial Secretary by Dr. Minhaj Qidwai (Dean of the University) as a token of appreciation.

Chairman of Pakistan Red Crescent Sindh Branch, Mr. Rehan Hashmi, was warmly congratulated on his appointment by media persons Syed Turab Shah, Muddasir Alam Muhammad, Syed Umair Shah, Javed Qureshi, and Syed Farooq Shah. They not only extended their congratulations but also highly appreciated the humanitarian work of PRCS and the dedication of its volunteers. The Pakistan Red Crescent Sindh Branch District Thatta responded swiftly to a devastating fire incident in Village Gandra, where two houses were completely destroyed. Upon receiving information through an EC member, DDRT volunteers promptly mobilized to assess the damage and support the affected families.

Haji Muhammad Hanif (Secretary), along with branch members and dedicated volunteers, visited the village and distributed essential Non-Food Items (NFIs) to assist the victims in their immediate recovery.
