Women Industrial & Social Educational Society (WISES) is a non-profit, non-political and non-governmental organization working in province of Sindh. WISES was established in the year 1997 and registered under the Voluntary Social Welfare Agencies Ordinance 1961 with the directorate of social welfare government of Sindh. A group of qualified professional social workers founded the Women Industrial
and Social Educational Society (WISES) for the ameliorating the plight of women and children living in the sub-urban and rural areas of Sindh. Since its establishment WISES had a tremendous progressive record, extended organization’s programs to various developmental sectors to cover maximum number of population through a well established organizational networking system. To achieve the organization objectives and make contribution in the process of development on humanitarian basis WISES launched many projects in the sector of education, health, protection, water & sanitation, skill development and relief programs in emergency. WISES Head Office located in Karachi, where qualified and experienced staff closely supervises all the running projects of organization. Head office management team is back stopping all the field offices in successful implementation of the projects including financial monitoring, control and support in implementation of HR/administrative and security policies. WISES extending its network to other parts of Sindh and gradually established regional offices in the core districts of Sindh. Currently WISES operations are underway in Kamber ShahdadKot, Jacobabad, Dadu, Badin, Thatta and Jamshoro.
