LiveWIRE is a Shell social investment programme that aims to help young people around the world explore the option of starting their own business. Currently present in 19 countries, the programme was launched in Pakistan in January 2003 under the local name of Shell Tameer to encourage development of entrepreneurial skills in young people aged 18 – 35. g; coaching and mentoring; opportunities for networking and market linkages; biennial awards to recognize and encourage innovative enterprises and post start-up support to help sustain businesses. Since it's inception, Shell Tameer has engaged over 75,000 people and supported over 1,000 businesses across Pakistan.

Proud to have sponsored the National Design, Build, Fly Competition (NDBFC ’19) — a national event hosted by the AIAA - The American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics GIKI Chapter under the Department of Student Affairs at GIKI Institute.

With 15+ universities and 400+ participants from across Pakistan, the competition brought together bright young minds to design and build their own radio-controlled (RC) aircraft and test them through exciting challenges like loops, flying upside down with weight, and accurate payload drops.

Events like NDBFC ’19 highlight the creativity, teamwork, and problem-solving spirit of our youth — values that Tameer proudly supports.
