Islamia Ranking Table Tennis Tournament Concludes with Thrilling Matches
Karachi, Feb 16, 2026: The Islamia Ranking Table Tennis Tournament, held from 13th to 16th February 2026 at Islamia Club, concluded with a spectacular closing ceremony. The event was graced by Arif Nakhuda, Senior Vice President of Karachi and Sindh Table Tennis Association, as the Chief Guest.
Sharing his views and memories of Islamia Club, Arif Nakhuda said, "Islamia Club has always been a hub for sports enthusiasts, and it's heartening to see the club organizing such a fantastic ranking event. The level of competition and sportsmanship displayed by the players is commendable."
Arif Nakhuda gave away prizes to the winners and runners-up of Boys Singles and Men's Singles. Arham bin Farrukh was the runner-up in the Under-19 Boys category, while Ahil Tharani was the runner-up in Men's Singles. Muhammad Abbas emerged as the star of the tournament, winning both Under-19 Boys Singles and Men's Singles titles, a double crown feat.
Mohsin Raza, Vice President KTTA, was present as Guest of Honour and appreciated Islamia Club's efforts in organizing the event. He gave away prizes to the Veteran's Singles category, where Shahid Ahmed was the runner-up and Azher Khurshid was the winner.
Another Guest of Honour, Hoor Fawad, National Games Champion, presented prizes to the Women's Singles category. Sara Danish was the runner-up, while Hareem Anwar emerged as the winner.
The closing ceremony was also attended by Saleem Ahmed, Vice President KTTA, and Sohail Tehseen, Joint Secretary KTTA.

- Women's Singles: Hareem Anwar beat Sara Danish 3-2 (11-5, 7-11, 11-3, 8-11, 11-3)
- Men's Singles: Muhammad Abbas beat Aahil Tharani 3-1 (11-4, 11-8, 9-11, 11-6)
- Boys Under-19 Single: Muhammad Abbas beat Arham Bin Farrukh 3-0 (12-10, 11-5, 11-4)
- Veteran's Singles: Azher Khurshid won against Shahid Ahmed 3-1 (11-5, 3-11, 11-8, 11-4)
