Explore Lyari | A Journey Beyond Headlines 🌍✨
An initiative by Rose Educational Society – Umang Fellowship Chapter 4, under the management of Rose Youth Point
The most meaningful journeys begin with purpose—and Explore Lyari began with an inspiring opening ceremony at Kakri Ground Sports Complex. We were honored by the presence of Town Chairman Lyari Nasir Kareem, Director Rose Educational Society Anwar Ali Bhatti, Sindh Boxing Association Secretary Ashgar Baloch, and Abid Brohi, who set the tone for a day rooted in hope, heritage, and unity.
Our second stop led us to Lea Market, where fellows explored Lyari’s rich history through its vibrant local markets.
At Mehrgarh Safe Space, participants experienced the true warmth of Lyari with a traditional local breakfast and a soulful drum circle by Nauroz Ghani—a celebration of culture and community.
At Cheel Chowk Lyari Heritage, participants explored Lyari in real time—beyond the headlines.
In Gabol Park, locals shared powerful football stories, reminding us of Lyari’s legendary sporting legacy.
The journey continued as Dreams House warmly welcomed the participants. Sir Ramzan Baloch shared the inspiring history of Lyari, followed by a meaningful diversity tour of the slaughterhouse area, offering new perspectives and deeper understanding.
We were inspired at Kiran Foundation, moved by their beautiful journey, and deeply touched by the warm hospitality of Abdullah Haroon Ashyana, where stories of empathy, care, and resilience came alive.
The day concluded at Rose Youth Point, our home—sharing lunch, reflections, and an honest feedback session. Participants left with new learnings, unforgettable memories, and a growing network.
