Muqadar Iqbal, a renowned freelance journalist from Islamabad, visited Rose Youth Point today, where he interacted with the young participants of the Umang Fellowship.

On the occasion, Anwar Ali Bhatti, Director of Rose Educational Society, warmly welcomed him and expressed his gratitude for taking the time to visit and engage with the fellows.

During his interaction with the Umang Fellows, Muqadar Iqbal shared insights from his journalistic journey and spoke about his professional experiences. He appreciated the Umang Fellowship program and emphasized the importance of engaging young people in positive and meaningful activities.

He said that this is precisely the kind of work we need to promote young people with opportunities that help them develop their skills, broaden their perspectives, and prepare themselves for the challenges of the future.

The visiting guest was also shown documentaries produced by the Umang Fellows as part of the fellowship program. He highly appreciated the creativity and efforts of the young participants and expressed his willingness to extend his full support and cooperation to the program in the future.

Guest Speaker Session | Umang Fellowship Chapter 5

Today at Rose Youth Point, Lyari, Umang Fellowship Chapter 5 hosted an inspiring guest speaker session on "Why Reading Is Important" with Mehnaz Ambreen—a passionate Social Activist, Educator, Author, and Writer.

Through an engaging discussion and interactive Q&A, she inspired our fellows to embrace the habit of reading as a pathway to knowledge, critical thinking, creativity, and lifelong learning. The session became even more memorable as she generously gifted books to the fellows, encouraging them to continue their learning journey beyond the classroom.

Football Learning Session was successfully conducted at Rose Youth Point, Lyari.

The session was facilitated by Mr. Zubair Ghulam Rasool (International Footballer & Trainer) and was organized exclusively for girls to promote women's participation in football and sports.

During the session, Mr. Zubair shared valuable knowledge about the fundamentals of football, including technical skills, discipline, teamwork, fitness, and the importance of regular training.

He encouraged the girls to believe in their abilities, remain committed to their goals, and use sports as a means of personal growth and confidence building.

The participants actively engaged in discussions, asked insightful questions, and benefited from the coach's practical advice and international experience.
