Quality is an essential characteristic, feature of any product, service or performance, which helps public and private companies to receive, universal recognition. Quality assurance standards are a set of standards that have been chosen, and implemented by businesses all around the world. So we developed a well designed “Quality Standard Award” in 2010 first time in Pakistan, coincided with the celebrations of 41st World Standards Day 2010, The Consumers Eye Pakistan (TCEP) with the collaboration of Pakistan Standards and Quality Control Authority (PSQCA) Ministry of Science and Technology (Government of Pakistan) instituted “QUALITY STANDARD AWARD” in Pakistan with the support of partner NGOs, Sindh Journalists Network(SJN) and Standards Gazette International to those Companies/ Institutions which are manufacturing or selling standardized products/Brands and services for the Pakistani Consumers ensuring human health and safety and provide thrust to consumer protection as well as consumer satisfaction, are most popular among consumers in Pakistan and meet all of their needs and preferences. Also for those manufacturers and service providing organizations who has ISO/PSQCA certification. QUALITY STANDARD AWARD is instituted to develop a relationship of trust among consumers, producers, service providers and concern authorities in Pakistan. QUALITY STANDARD AWARD with a view to encourage Pakistani manufacturers and service providing organization to strive for excellence and giving special recognition to those who are considered to be the leaders of Quality movement in Pakistan. This award is intended to generate interest and involvement of local industry in Quality programmes, drive out products and service to higher levels of Quality and equip our industry to meet the challenges of domestic and international markets. This award will intend to generate interest and involvement of Pakistani Industry and service sector in quality programmes to drive our Products/Brands and Services to higher levels of quality standard and equip our Industry to meet the challenges of domestic and International markets so that Pakistan could move into 21st Century with pride. QUALITY STANDARD AWARD instituted with a view to encourage Pakistani manufacturers and service providing organizations, to appreciate their product / Brands/ Services to strive for excellence and to give special recognition to those who are considered to be the leaders of quality movement in Pakistan and also to boost the image of Pakistan Products / Brands & services to recognizes the achievements of those manufacturers, organizations and service providers who maintain the quality standards and are most popular among the Consumers.
