Konpal Child Abuse Prevention Society hosted a Haj Reception in honour of konpal's former General Secretary Dr. Ashfaq Mala and his wife Samina Mala. Also to Dr. Mahpara wife of Dr. Shahid Jibran an ardent member of Konpal team.

This reception was preceded by Konpal Executive Committee Meeting. Earlier a meeting was held with Mr. Majeed Baloch, Mr. Ghalib Hussain of Jam Kanda Village to discuss future program to be organised with the collaboration of Konpal in 2026.

SAPCAN (South Asian Professionals against Child Abuse and Neglect) held its monthly meeting today. Prof Aisha Mehnaz presented brief account of konpal and it's various projects and SWOT analysis. The members belonging to South Asian countries like India,Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Nepal ,Pakistan etc lauded the efforts of Konpal and it's work with marginalized community . They expressed their appreciation of Konpal's motivated team.

Konpal Child Abuse Prevention Society, in collaboration with SCPA, Roshni Helpline, and PPA-CRG, organized an online webinar on “Reporting Mechanism for Abused and Missing Children” on Sunday, 24th May 2026 via Zoom.

The webinar was moderated by Prof. Aisha Mehnaz (Chairperson KONPAL CAPS).
Speakers included
Dr. Naeem Zafar (Convener PPA -CRG and President PAHCHAN NGO), Ms. Ambreen Zehra (Operational Director SCPA), Dr. Kishwar Enam (Pediatrician AKU) Dr. Summaiya Syed (Police Surgeon, Karachi) Mr Muhammad Ali, (President Roshni help line NGO).
They shared valuable insights on child protection and reporting mechanisms, and the role of institutions in safeguarding children.

Prof. Mohsina Ibrahim General Secretary PPA , Prof. Mumtaz Lakhani , Prof. Fehmina Arif lauded the efforts of Konpal and Prof. Aisha Mehnaz on organizing the timely and important webinar on Reporting mechanism of Child Abuse cases and emphasised the need for more such collaborative and awareness raising seminars.
