Today, we had the honour of welcoming Her Excellency Jane Marriott, British High Commissioner to Pakistan, to DEWA, along with ConnectHear, Global Research and Technology Development UK, and GSMA.
We opened our gates and shared the legacy DEWA has built over the years, because meaningful sign language AI technologies should be shaped alongside the very community they're meant to serve. Our students, our classrooms, and our story became a living foundation for this work.
At DEWA, accessibility has never been an afterthought. It's the heart of everything we do.
Today was a beautiful reminder that when a community opens its doors with purpose, the impact reaches far beyond a single room. It reaches lives, and it reaches futures.
To Her Excellency and every guest who walked through our doors today, thank you for seeing our students, for valuing their world, and for believing, as we do, that communication is a right, not a privilege.
This is what our legacy was built for: the betterment of every hearing-impaired child who calls DEWA home. 🤍
