MQI was founded by Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr. Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri in October 1980. Dr. Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri, a professor of international law and a prominent authority on Islam has authored more than 400 published works. Dr. Qadri developed his organisational network in more than 90 countries in the span of just 30 years. To date, with over a thousand educational institutions we are one of the largest non-governmental organisations in the world.

The Manifest Quran is the English translation of the Holy Quran, directly translated from the Arabic. It represents an independent effort distinct from two existing translations by Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri: Irfan-ul-Quran and The Glorious Quran. This is probably the first time in Islamic history that the Quran has been translated independently into two different languages, i.e., Urdu and English, directly from the Arabic by the same translator.

عام طور پر ہم یہ سمجھتے ہیں کہ آزادی کا مطلب ہر خواہش کی تکمیل ہے، مگر روزہ انسان کو اس کے برعکس حقیقت سے آشنا کرتا ہے۔ حقیقی آزادی یہ نہیں کہ انسان ہر خواہش کا پیچھا کرے بلکہ یہ ہے کہ وہ اپنی خواہشات پر قابو رکھ سکے۔ روزہ دراصل نفس کی تربیت کا وہ عمل ہے جس میں انسان بھوک، پیاس، غصہ اور شہوت جیسے بنیادی محرکات کو نظم میں لاتا ہے۔ جو شخص ان محرکات کو منظم کر لیتا ہے وہ زندگی کے ہر میدان میں بھی جلد بازی، جذباتیت اور نفس پرستی سے محفوظ رہتا ہے۔ یوں روزہ انسان کو نفس کی غلامی سے نکال کر وقار کی سطح پر لے آتا ہے۔

۳ رمضان المبارک سیدہ کائنات حضرت فاطمہ سلام اللہ علیہا کا یومِ وصال ہے۔ آپ سلام اللہ علیہا گفتار و کردار اور فصاحت و بلاغت میں سراسر شبیہ مصطفیٰ صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم تھیں۔ آپ سلام اللہ علیہا کی شخصیت زہد و ورع، تقویٰ و طہارت، علم و حلم اور جرأت و صداقت کا پیکر تھی۔ آپ سلام اللہ علیہا کی عفت و حیا اور طہارت و پاکیزگی کا اندازہ حضرت علی رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی اس حدیث مبارک سے لگایا جا سکتا ہے کہ حضور نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے فرمایا:
جب قیامت کا دن ہو گا تو پردہ کے پیچھے سے ندا دی جائے گی: اے آل محشر !اپنی نگاہیں جھکا لو تاکہ اللہ کے رسول صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کی بیٹی حضرت فاطمۃ الزہراء سلام اللہ علیہا گزر جائیں۔پس وہ دوسبز چادروں میں لپٹی ہوئی گزر جائیں گی۔

اللہ تعالیٰ سے دعا ہے کہ وہ ہمیں سیدہ کائنات سلام اللہ علیہا کے نقوشِ پا کا فیض عطا فرمائے اور دنیا و آخرت میں آپ سلام اللہ علیہا کی چادرِ تطہیر کے سائے میں رکھے۔ آمین ثم آمین
