OSDI believes in involving communities in every step of development.

In Lemo Goth, a Broad Based Community Meeting (BBCM) was conducted where villagers gathered to discuss their needs and ideas for education. Through this collective discussion, the community identified a suitable location for the Community Learning Center (CLC), community members also came forward to donate land for construction.

This approach builds ownership, trust, and sustainability, ensuring that the initiative truly belongs to the people it serves.

Bringing primary education closer to home for out-of-school children, within their own village.

Ensuring transparency and impact at every step.

The Head of Programs visited Mardan to reverify beneficiaries shortlisted by the field team under SREP Phase VII. This process ensures that only the most deserving individuals are selected for support.

Through the SREP initiative, selected beneficiaries will receive grants to initiate and strengthen their own small businesses, paving the way toward sustainable livelihoods.

At OSDI, we remain committed to accountability, empowerment, and creating lasting change in communities.

A healthier tomorrow starts with the choices we make today.

Vaccinating children against polio is not just about protecting individuals, it strengthens entire communities. Every drop helps build a future where children can grow, learn, and thrive without the fear of preventable diseases.

At OSDI, our teams work closely with communities to raise awareness, improve access to primary health services, and ensure families understand the importance of timely immunization. By empowering families and strengthening community systems, we are helping safeguard children’s futures.

This effort also supports Global Goals for Sustainable Development like:
✔️ SDG 3: Good Health & Well-Being – ensuring children live healthy lives
✔️ SDG 4: Quality Education – healthier children attend school and learn better
✔️ SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals – working together for stronger communities

Let’s continue building resilient, healthy communities.

🌍 World Health Day 2026

On this World Health Day, OSDI reaffirms its commitment to “Health for All” by ensuring that primary healthcare reaches the most underserved communities.

Through our initiatives including General Medical Camps (GMC), School-Based Deworming (SBDW), Maternal, Newborn & Child Health (MNCH) training programs, and Health & Hygiene awareness sessions—we continue to work towards improving access to care, promoting preventive practices, and building healthier, more resilient communities.

Because health is not a privilege, it is a fundamental right. And real change begins where care reaches those who need it most.

Together, let’s move closer to a future where everyone, everywhere has the opportunity to live a healthy life.

The golden fields are ready, a season of hard work, resilience, and hope is now turning into harvest 🌾

Under ADP XI, beneficiaries supported by OSDI are harvesting their wheat crops across villages. This reflects not just agricultural success, but strengthened livelihoods, improved food security, and empowered rural communities.

Through ADP XI, OSDI continues to:
🌱 Support smallholder farmers with resources and guidance
🌱 Enhance sustainable agricultural practices
🌱 Strengthen household food security
🌱 Promote income generation opportunities
🌱 Build community resilience against economic and climate challenges

Today, as beneficiaries harvest their crops, it marks a step forward toward self-reliance and dignity.

This initiative directly contributes to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs):
🔹 SDG 1 – No Poverty
🔹 SDG 2 – Zero Hunger
🔹 SDG 8 – Decent Work & Economic Growth
🔹 SDG 13 – Climate Action

From sowing seeds to reaping success, this journey belongs to our hardworking farmers.

Strengthening Livelihoods Through Livestock 🐐🌱

Our Monitoring & Evaluation team visited Mardan to assess the progress of the Livestock Development Project – Phase VII. The visit focused on reviewing herd growth, understanding how additional livestock has improved household incomes, and evaluating how beneficiaries are maintaining their livestock shelters.

From observing healthy herd increases to witnessing improved livestock management practices, it is encouraging to see how this initiative is contributing to sustainable livelihoods in rural communities.
