This achievement would not have been possible without the dedication, professionalism, and tireless efforts of our entire team. We extend our sincere appreciation to our District Heads Rashid Butt, Sajjad Said and field teams Ibrar Ali working across Mardan and Lasbela and other project areas, whose commitment ensures that our programs reach those who need them most.

We also recognize the valuable leadership and contributions of our Head of Programs, Livelihood Assistance Program (LAP) Manager Babar Junaid, Manager Health, Education Manager, Finance & Administration Team Ather Siddiqui Ayaz Ahmed, and support staff who played a critical role in maintaining the high standards of accountability, transparency, and program quality reflected in this evaluation.

Our heartfelt gratitude goes to our Board of Trustees, partners, donors, volunteers, community leaders, and beneficiaries for their trust and continued support.

Thank you for being part of this journey.

From Market Dependency to Self-Reliance

Through the Kitchen Gardening Project, OSDI is helping rural families grow fresh and nutritious vegetables at home, improving food security while reducing household expenses.

With the provision of quality seeds, fertilizers, and technical guidance, 20 households across 4 villages have successfully established kitchen gardens and are cultivating 5 varieties of vegetables. As a result, beneficiary families are saving an estimated PKR 7,000–8,000 while gaining access to healthier and more diverse diets.

This initiative demonstrates how small-scale agricultural support can create lasting impacts on nutrition, resilience, and household well-being.
