Pakistan Association of the Deaf Pakistan Association of the Deaf (PAD) former Karachi Deaf Welfare Association (KDWA) was established in 1987 by few dynamic deaf youths.

PAD is a member of World Federation of the Deaf (WFD) and responsible to represent Pakistani deaf community national We will be a leader in providing barrier free environment to the deaf community through quality education so that they can enjoy their rights freely. To provide by 2020 an environment that would allow full support to deaf community such as interpreter services for the deaf. Getting

approval for the right of official sign language for the deaf and finding solution of their problems.
