INDUS EARTH TRUST Building a brighter future for rural Pakistan. Join us & create lasting change! This vision has informed our work ethic for over a decade now.

For over 20 years, we've empowered communities with safe homes, clean energy, and job skills, providing relief when it's needed most. Indus Earth Trust (IET), established in 2000, was formed with the simple vision of providing help to neglected coastal communities in Pakistan. Our priority in any intervention is to ensure that communities become productive members of society by resolving various developmental issues that have hindered their progress. We firmly believe that their poverty is a complex, multi-layered issue so that development must have an integrated approach for success.

proudly commemorated the 79th Independence Day of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan on August 14, 2026. The commemorative event was hosted at Government Boys High School Agheemani, located in Baghar Mori, UC Doomani, District Thatta. This initiative was made possible through the generous financial support of the Pakistan Poverty Alleviation Fund (PPAF) under the Restoring Social Services & Climate Resilience Project.
Guided by the timeless motto of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah Unity, Faith, and Discipline (Ittihad, Yaqeen-e-Muhkam, Nazm) the festivities brought together local communities, students, and institutional partners to honor national resilience and shared civic responsibility.
The ceremony was graced by Mr. Khuda Bux Bharani, Additional Director of Social Welfare, who attended as the Chief Guest. Addressing an engaged audience of parents, community leaders, and representatives from village organizations, Mr. Bharani emphasized the critical importance of girls' education and community-wide academic enrollment. He commended Indus Earth Trust and its partners for their ongoing dedication to upgrading rural learning environments and advancing educational equity across District Thatta.

We are proud to announce that the has provided financial support to Indus Earth Trust (IET) for the "Saaf Paani Station" Safe and Clean Drinking Water Project in Karachi.
Mr. Aijaz Ali, CEO of Indus Earth Trust, officially received the grant cheque from Mr. Abid Rafiq Gazi, Head of the HBL Foundation.

2. Global Goals Alignment: The program directly contributes to multiple Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by improving water access, public health, gender equality, poverty reduction, environmental sustainability, and climate resilience.
Indus Earth Trust extends its sincere gratitude to Ms. Samaviya Asghar, CEO of Habib Bank Limited, Pakistan, along with the entire HBL Foundation team, for their invaluable financial support and commitment to community empowerment.
