Building Foundations for a Brighter Future: School Reconstruction in Jhimpir 🏫✨
Indus Earth Trust is proud to announce a transformative new project: the reconstruction of the Primary School at Dad Bux Chang village, Union Council Jhimpir, District Thatta.
This comprehensive initiative is designed to create a safe, modern, and conducive learning environment for the community. The reconstruction scope includes:
Infrastructure: Renovated school rooms and a secure boundary wall.
WASH Facilities: Upgraded sanitation and hygiene infrastructure.
Sustainability: Installation of a water filtration system and a full solar power system.
Environment: Greening the school through dedicated plantation efforts.
This project is made possible through the generous funding of the Pakistan Poverty Alleviation Fund (PPAF) under a CSR agreement with Three Gorges Corporation (TGC) Second Wind Farm Pakistan Ltd.
Empowering Our Generations
This collaboration represents a significant leap forward for local education. By providing a safe, secure, and modern environment, we aim to boost enrollment, especially for girls, and ensure a brighter future for the children of Dad Bux Chang and four neighboring villages.

Empowering Women through Digital Skills! 💻
We are thrilled to share that Indus Earth Trust has successfully completed specialized training on the e-selling of cosmetics!
A group of 25 talented women from the district participated in this program under the Ba-Ikhtiar Project, gaining the practical skills needed to thrive in the digital marketplace. This vital initiative is proudly funded by the Pakistan Poverty Alleviation Fund (PPAF).
At Indus Earth Trust, we strongly believe that Women’s Economic Empowerment begins with enhancing digital skills. By bridging the gap between local talent and digital platforms, we are helping these entrepreneurs turn their passion into a sustainable livelihood.

Staying Safe During the Heatwave in Makli, Thatta ☀️
Indus Earth Trust is on the ground today in Makli, Thatta, running a dedicated heatwave relief camp.
We were honored to have the Assistant Commissioner visit our camp today to oversee our relief efforts. Under our Restoring Social Services and Climate Resilience project, funded by the Pakistan Poverty Alleviation Fund (PPAF), we are providing essential supplies to help our community members stay hydrated and safe.

Media Highlights Impact of Ba-Ikhtiyar Women Project in Thatta.

Our Ba-Ikhtiyar Women Project is catching the eye of the media. We are excited to see the ongoing training of our 50 participants being showcased on news channels and in print media.
In partnership with PTCLand Pakistan Poverty Alleviation Fund(PPAF), Indus Earth Trust is developing the women bridge between "Hunar" (Skill) and "Digital Karobar" (Online Business). Watching these 50 women gain the recognition they deserve is a testament to the power of digital inclusion.
