⚡ Hands-On Arduino Workshop Successfully Concluded! ⚡

We're thrilled to share highlights from our recent Hands-On Arduino Workshop! Students got the opportunity to explore Arduino from the ground up, learning to code, build, and troubleshoot real circuits under expert guidance.

A big thank you to our trainers, Abdul Saboor (President, UITU Robotics Society) and Syed Sohaib Shere (Co-Founder, ZENCODE), for delivering such an engaging and practical session.

This event was proudly organized by IEEE UIT Student Branch in collaboration with UITU Makers Club, UITU Robotics Society (UROS), and IEEE Karachi Section Student Activities Committee.

From writing code to hands-on soldering and circuit building, our participants left with real, applicable skills. Thank you to everyone who joined us, this is just the beginning of many more technical sessions to come! 🚀

🌍 Representing IEEE UITU on a Global Stage!

We're proud to share that our Chair, Faiq Hasan Khan, represented IEEE Usman Institute of Technologies Student Branch at IEEE SBXchange 2026, presenting in front of participants from 15 countries around the world!

This was a wonderful opportunity to connect with student leaders and IEEE representatives from across the globe, and to share the initiatives our team has been working on, including our PES and WIE activities, and our upcoming national level conference, STEM Horizon.

We're grateful for this platform and excited about the connections and visibility it brings to our branch. Moments like these push us to keep growing and representing IEEE UITU at even bigger platforms in the future! 🚀

✨ HER Impact 2026 Successfully Concluded! ✨

We're thrilled to share the highlights of our very first event as the newly elected IEEE UIT Student Branch team!

In collaboration with IEEE Women in Engineering (WIE) Karachi Section, we organized "HER Impact 2026" an event dedicated to celebrating and empowering women engineers who drive innovation and create meaningful impact in their communities.

We were honored to welcome Engr. Syeda Fakhra Jalal as our main speaker. She is a Biomedical Engineer, Student Engagement Coordinator at Young Professionals Karachi Section, Advisor for IEEE EMBS SHUSB, and Chair of IEEE SHUSB. Her session offered powerful insights that left a lasting impression on all of us.

We were also joined by an inspiring lineup of guest speakers:

🔹 Ms. Nazia Sultana Plabon, Graduate Student, Department of EEE, Premier University, and Team Member at IEEE Region 10 HTA, who shared her journey as a volunteer with a focus on empowering female students.
🔹 Ms. Amna Umer, Lecturer in the Computer Science Department at UIT University, Treasurer of IEEE WIE Karachi Section, and Media and Content Manager at IEEE HTA Region 10, who spoke on how humanitarian projects transform communities.
🔹 Engr. Amna Jawaid Sheikh, a Master's student in Greece and recipient of the prestigious Erasmus Mundus Scholarship, who shared her insights on engineering for social good.

Sincere thanks to all our guest speakers, participants, and our incredible team for their hard work and support in making this event a memorable success. This marks the beginning of many more initiatives to come from IEEE UIT Student Branch! 💜

🚀 Arduino Innovation Hackathon A Journey Worth Sharing!

Our IEEE UIT Student Branch team had the opportunity to participate in the Arduino Innovation Hackathon, and it turned out to be an incredible learning experience for all of us!

From brainstorming ideas to building our prototype hands-on with whatever we had wires, sensors, and a lot of teamwork every moment pushed us to think, adapt, and innovate under pressure.

We'd like to extend our heartfelt thanks to Mehran University of Engineering and Technology (MUET) for inviting us to participate in this event. The experience, exposure, and hospitality meant a lot to our team, and we truly hope to be part of more such collaborations in the future!

This experience strengthened our problem-solving skills, taught us the value of collaboration, and gave us memories we'll carry forward. A big thank you to our entire team for their hard work and passion throughout the event!

We're excited to bring this energy into more events, competitions, and initiatives as IEEE UIT Student Branch. Stay tuned this is just the beginning! 💡
