Subject: Request for Immediate Action Against Illegal Wall Causing Severe Drainage Overflow at Gwalior Society

Respected Sir/Madam,

We residents of Gwalior Itehad Group - Gwalior Cooperative Society would like to bring to your urgent attention a recurring and serious drainage problem at the front road of Gwalior Society. A few months ago, during the rainy days and the Thado Dam flood, the same situation occurred when drainage water began overflowing onto the road. Unfortunately, this issue has again resurfaced, this time due to wastewater (gutter) overflow, creating extreme inconvenience and health hazards for residents.
The main cause of this persistent problem is an illegal wall constructed by Pak Scientist Society, which has been built directly on the government’s 72-inch water conduit (drainage line). This obstruction is blocking the natural flow of stormwater and sewage, resulting in dangerous backflow and flooding on the main road.
This wall is not only illegal but also poses a severe risk during rains or emergency situations, as it restricts the primary drainage channel of the area.
Request for Action
we respectfully request the concerned authorities to:
Immediately inspect the site and verify the obstruction on the 72" government drainage line.
Remove the illegal wall constructed by Pak Scientist Society.
Restore the original water flow to prevent further flooding and contamination.
Take necessary legal action against those responsible for this construction.
Your prompt attention can prevent potential environmental, health, and infrastructure damage in the area.

We are writing to bring to your urgent attention the severe waterlogging crisis affecting Scheme-33 Gwalior Society and its neighboring societies (Pilibhit, Karachi University, State Bank, and PCSIR societies). due to the continuous accumulation of water from Thado Dam. The situation has become extremely alarming as residents are left without relief, struggling with health, sanitation, and mobility challenges.

The main reason for this crisis is the blocked water drainage system in Pak Scientist Society and Madras Society, which has completely stopped the proper flow of water. Due to this negligence, thousands of residents are suffering in flooded streets and homes, with no immediate intervention from the concerned authorities.
We humbly and strongly request the higher authorities to:
Take serious and immediate action for water drainage and pumping.
Ensure relief measures for the affected families, including medical and emergency support.
Initiate long-term drainage and flood-prevention solutions so this disaster does not repeat in the future.
This is not just an inconvenience but a humanitarian crisis. The affected families are in urgent need of government attention and support.
We sincerely hope that the concerned departments will act on top priority to provide relief and restore normal living conditions for over 1,500 families in Gwalior Society Scheme-33 and surrounding societies.

Residents of Gwalior Society Scheme 33 Karachi and other nearby societies are facing serious trouble since last night after Thado Dam water entered in society no media & Govt. personals visit thier for rescue them in this critical situation. All relavent authorities & departments humbly requested to helpout them immediately as soon as possible, left all political and other diffrences safe all residents of these societies
