Sharia Policy Law Review Council (SPLRC) is an independent non-profit legal research and public policy institute dedicated to the scholarly study, critical analysis, and contemporary application of Sharia Compliance and Islamic jurisprudence within the modern Constitutional and legal frameworks in the Islamic States.
The Center serves as a professional legal think tank committed to promoting Sharia compliance and acting as a shield of Islam. It aims to strengthen the harmonization of Islamic legal principles with contemporary legislative and governance systems in order to promote justice, legal integrity, and public welfare.
Founded by Barrister Shahid Siddiq Awan (Founder & Chairperson), the institution provides a platform for legal scholarship, policy review, and intellectual dialogue on the role of Islamic law in modern state governance.
The Center operates as a research and advisory institution focusing on:
• Sharia compliance research
• Legislative and policy review
• Islamic constitutional law
• Comparative legal studies
• Legal reform policy
• Rule of law promotion
• Legal awareness initiatives
The institutional work of the Center is guided by the higher objectives of Islamic law (Maqasid al-Shariah), particularly the protection of religion, life, intellect, property, lineage, and human dignity.
The Sharia Policy Law Review Center maintains a strictly non-political, non-sectarian, and academic character, functioning solely as a research and policy institution without exercising any judicial or regulatory authority.
Through legal research, academic publications, and policy dialogue, the Center seeks to contribute toward the development of legal systems that reflect justice, accountability, Sharia compliance, and good governance.

Institutional Motto:
"Advancing Justice Through Sharia-Compliant Legal Research."
