Health awareness is an important part of a child’s education.

With the aim of empowering our students with greater awareness about hygiene and good health, another awareness session was conducted at SAF School Arkanabad Campus in collaboration with Trust For Malnutrition And Stunted Growth. Students were sensitized on menstrual hygiene, iron deficiency, and its prevention, helping them better understand the importance of their health and well-being.

Menstrual hygiene essentials and iron supplements were also distributed, providing students with practical support alongside awareness.

Did you know breastfeeding benefits both baby and mother? 🤱✨
Breastfeeding does more than just nourish your child and strengthen your emotional bond—it also plays a major role in protecting a mother’s health.
Key maternal benefits include:
• Mental Health Support: Helps reduce the risk of postpartum depression.
• Long-term Protection: Lowers the risk of breast cancer and ovarian cancer.
• Disease Prevention: Decreases the risk of heart disease, high blood pressure, and diabetes.
Choose breastfeeding to safeguard a healthier future for both you and your baby. 💚

Did you know that mother's milk is your baby's first line of defense? 🛡️✨
The first thick milk (colostrum) is essential for a baby's physical and mental development. It helps protect against common infections like diarrhea, ear infections, and lung conditions—while building a deep, loving bond between mother and child. 💕
Give your baby the best start in life! 👶🍼

Breastfeeding Week (August 1st – 7th) 🤱✨
A mother’s first milk (Colostrum) isn't just nourishment—it is a newborn’s very first vaccine. Packed with essential antibodies, it acts as a natural shield against harmful infections and builds lifelong immunity.
Key guidance for optimal infant health:
0–6 Months: Exclusive breastfeeding only—no water or additional foods required.
6+ Months: Introduce soft, nutritious solid foods (mashed fruits, pureed vegetables) alongside continued breastfeeding.
Up to 2 Years: Continue breastfeeding to support healthy overall growth and development.
This World Breastfeeding Week, let's pledge to support mothers in providing their babies with the healthiest start to life. 💚

A Journey of Hope from Kurram to Peshawar

Today, a critically vulnerable child from Kurram Agency was referred to TMSG for urgent help. The family is expected to reach Peshawar tomorrow, Insha'Allah. Because the child is reportedly having difficulty swallowing, immediate specialist care is essential. Arrangements are being made for the child to be admitted to the Nutrition Division at Lady Wellington Hospital, where the medical team can assess the child and begin safe, supervised treatment.

Our TMSG Ambassador in Peshawar, Khurshid Khan , is personally taking charge of the case and will help the family receive timely care and follow-up support. This is not simply another case or number. It is a precious child whose life matters and a family travelling many hours with hope in their hearts. Insha'Allah, no effort will be spared.

Your support can help us save more children like this. Please donate to TMSG and give vulnerable children the chance to survive, recover, and thrive. Every contribution makes a difference.
