Community Emergency Response Team for Southern Region

Successfully conducted a joint training session with CERT and PRC members. The session included practical exercises in first aid, spinal patient management, and rope management in confined workspaces, all conducted through different emergency based scenarios.

A total of 25 CERT members and 5 PRC members participated in the training, making it a productive and hands on learning experience focused on strengthening our emergency response skills, teamwork, and preparedness.

Basic First Aid Training session was conducted for Nizari Senior Citizens to enhance their awareness and preparedness in managing common emergencies. The session covered essential first aid knowledge along with practical demonstrations, including basic bandaging techniques and other hands-on skills to help participants respond effectively during emergencies.

PASC successfully organized an insightful awareness session on mental health in Rahimabad, JammatKhana. The event aimed to break the stigma surrounding mental wellbeing, providing community members with vital tools to recognize psychological distress and seek appropriate support. By facilitating these crucial conversations, PASC continues its commitment to community development and fostering a healthier, more resilient society.

CERT Clifton organized a Basic First Aid Training session for the Shaheen Scouts of Clifton Jamatkhana. The session equipped the Scouts with essential first aid knowledge and practical skills to respond effectively to emergencies and provide immediate assistance when needed.

EOC Level 100 Refresher Training Course one day program at Aga Khan University Institute of Educational Development Sunday 20th September 2026 Total 12 participants from Southern Region who have already completed and certified this course previously in 2018 and 2020 respectively

🔥 Fire Safety & Emergency Response Training

Today, an important Fire Safety and Emergency Response Training Session was successfully conducted at the NADRA Office and GCHSS Jati.
The session equipped staff and students with essential knowledge and practical skills, including fire prevention techniques, emergency response protocols, and the proper hands-on use of fire extinguishers.

Evacuation Drill | Karimabad Jurisdiction
An evacuation drill was successfully conducted across all Jamatkhanas within the Karimabad Jurisdiction, with the complete evacuation process carried out within a maximum time of 6 minutes.
This drill aimed to strengthen preparedness, improve emergency response, and ensure that community members can evacuate safely and efficiently during an emergency.
Preparedness today can save lives tomorrow. 🟢🚨
