A small team can carry a big responsibility when everyone is willing to do their part. Abdullah Moufeeq, Department of IT, served as Finance Secretary of the GGC Welfare Society for 2025-2026. Throughout the term, he took care of the financial work entrusted to him and worked alongside the team whenever support was needed. We are grateful for the sincerity and commitment Abdullah brought to the role. We are happy to recognise Syed Shahjehan Ahmed, Department of English , for his service as Finance Secretary of the GGC Welfare Society during 2025-2026. We are pleased to recognise Nimra Seemab Kayani, Department of Economics, who served as Finance Secretary of the GGC Welfare Society for 2025-2026. During her tenure, Nimra handled the financial responsibilities of the Society with care and remained a dependable member of the team. We are taking a moment to appreciate Neha Javed, Department of English, for her time and contribution to the GGC Welfare Society as the Finance Head for the 2025-2026 term. Handling the Society's finances is a responsibility that requires trust, care and consistency, and Neha carried that responsibility with great commitment throughout her time. From keeping track of the Society's financial matters to being there whenever her role required her, she remained a dependable part of the team.

The GGC Welfare Society is grateful to Mr. Omer from the Department of English for standing by our mission and extending his support whenever it has been needed. His efforts in reaching out to well-wishers and helping the Society secure support for deserving students have made a genuine difference over the years.

The GGC Welfare Society proudly acknowledges Mr. Sharjeel, our Former IT Coordinator, for the dedication, time, and commitment he brought to the Society. His support has been an important part of our journey, and we are grateful for everything he has done for our team and our mission.

The GGC Welfare Society traces its official foundation to the leadership of Dr. Shahid Saeed, who recognized a student-led effort to support those facing financial difficulties and gave it an institutional identity by serving as its first Chairperson.

His encouragement helped transform an idea into a lasting platform of compassion and service. Today, the Society continues to uphold the same commitment of ensuring that deserving students receive the support they need to pursue their education with dignity.
