🤝 Pleased to report back to the worthy Deputy Commissioner & Chairperson DDMA Jaffarabad on the successful completion of the ToGETHER - HOIFA Heatwave Response Initiative, implemented in partnership with Welthungerhilfe (WHH) (WHH) and supported by Auswärtiges Amt (Federal Foreign Office) Germany

آج جیکب آباد میں "بین الاقوامی یومِ امن" نہایت شاندار طریقے سے منایا گیا۔ ضلع ایڈمنسٹریشن جیکب آباد کی سرپرستی میں اس باوقار تقریب کا انعقاد CDF، شفاء اور سیگل اکیڈمی کے مشترکہ تعاون سے کیا گیا۔
تقریب کی چند اہم جھلکیاں:
* سیگل اکیڈمی کے بچوں نے امن، ہم آہنگی اور انصاف کے موضوعات پر دلکش ٹیبلوز اور شاندار تقاریر پیش کر کے سب کے دل جیت لیے۔
* بین المذاہب ہم آہنگی اور امن کی ترویج کے لیے مسلم، ہندو، سکھ اور عیسائی برادری کے افراد نے ایک ساتھ شرکت کر کے اتحاد و یکجہتی کا عملًا ثبوت دیا۔
* مقررین نے خطاب کرتے ہوئے عالمی سطح پر امن کے قیام میں پاکستان کے مثبت اور پرامن کردار کو زبردست خراجِ تحسین پیش کیا۔

غربت، بے بسی اور معمر خواتین کے درد کی کہانیاں... 💔
جب ہم نے راشن پیک کی تقسیم کے لیے بزرگ اور معذور خواتین کو ڈسٹری بیوشن سائٹ پر بلایا، تو ان کی زبانی غربت اور بے بسی کی کہانیاں سن کر ہمارے دل بھر آئے۔ ان معمر خواتین کی آنکھوں میں نہ صرف درد کے آنسو تھے بلکہ ان کی تکلیف دیکھ کر ہم بھی غمگین ہو گئے۔
الحمدللہ! روزانہ کی بنیاد پر مزدوری کرنے والے متاثرہ 550 خاندانوں میں ایک مہینے کا راشن تقسیم کر دیا گیا ہے۔
راشن کی تقسیم کے دوران مختلف معمر خواتین نے روتے ہوئے اپنی کہانیاں سنائیں۔ ایک بوڑھی ماں نے بتایا: "ہماری زندگیوں میں دکھ ہی دکھ ہیں۔ میرے 3 بیٹے ہیں جن میں سے ایک معذور (گونگا) ہے۔ بڑے بیٹوں نے مجھے اور اس معذور بچے کو الگ کر دیا ہے۔ وہ گونگا بیٹا روز مزدوری کے لیے جاتا ہے—کبھی کام ملتا ہے، کبھی خالی ہاتھ لوٹتا ہے۔ جس دن مزدوری مل جائے تو 1 کلو آٹا، تھوڑا گھی اور سبزی لے آتا ہے اور ہم کھا لیتے ہیں، ورنہ مانگ کر کھانے پر مجبور ہوتے ہیں۔ آپ کا دیا ہوا راشن ہمارے جیسے کئی گھرانوں کے لیے ایک نہیں بلکہ 4 مہینے کا سہارا بن گیا ہے!"
ان معمر خواتین کی کہانیاں اور الفاظ ہمارے ضمیر کو جھنجھوڑنے کے لیے کافی ہیں۔ یاد رکھیں! آپ کا دیا ہوا ایک چھوٹا سا تعاون ایسے کئی بے بس اور معذور افراد کے گھروں میں مہینوں کی آسودگی لا سکتا ہے۔
ہماری مدد جاری رکھیں تاکہ کوئی بھی معذور، بزرگ یا بوڑھی ماں بھوکے پیٹ نہ سوئے۔ 🙏
ہم ٹوگیدر پروگرام (ToGETHER Program)، ویلٹ ہنگر ہلفے (Welthungerhilfe - WHH) اور جرمن فیڈرل فارن آفس (GFFO) کے بے حد مشکور ہیں جن کے تعاون سے اس انسانی خدمت کو ممکن بنایا جا سکا۔

Stories of Poverty, Helplessness, and the Pain of Elderly Women... 💔
When we invited elderly and differently-abled women to the distribution site to receive ration packs, listening to their stories of hardship and helplessness broke our hearts. There were not only tears of pain in the eyes of these elderly women, but witnessing their anguish left us deeply sorrowful as well.
Alhamdulillah! One month's worth of ration has been distributed among 550 daily-wage earning families whose livelihoods have been severely impacted.
During the distribution, several elderly women tearfully shared their struggles. One elderly mother recounted:
"Our lives are filled with nothing but suffering. I have 3 sons, one of whom is mute and disabled. My older sons separated me and my disabled child from the family. My mute son goes out every day looking for labor—some days he finds work, other days he returns empty-handed. On the days he gets work, he brings back 1 kg of flour, a little ghee, and vegetables for us to eat; otherwise, we are forced to beg for food. The ration you provided is a lifeline that will support families like ours not just for one month, but for four whole months!"
The stories and words of these elderly women are enough to shake our collective conscience. Remember! Your small contribution can bring months of relief and support to many such helpless and disabled individuals.
Please keep supporting our cause so that no elderly mother or disabled person has to sleep on an empty stomach. 🙏

📦 سرگرمی: بعد از گرم لہر (Post-Heatwave) امدادی اور بحالی کا سامان فراہم کرنے کی تقسیم۔

یہ اہم اقدام 'ٹوگیدر پروگرام' (Together Program) کی HOIFA فنڈنگ فیسلٹی کے تحت جاری ہے۔
اس پراجیکٹ کی قیادت CDF (کمیونٹی ڈویلپمنٹ فاؤنڈیشن) کر رہا ہے، جبکہ ہمارے بہترین کنسورشیم پارٹنرز FRDP اور RCDS اس میں ہمارے ساتھ شانہ بشانہ کام کر رہے ہیں۔
