​This proactive intervention is established by the Community Development Foundation (CDF), with the invaluable support of the START Network under the Start Ready Heatwave Anticipatory Actions Project.

☀️ Beating the Heat Together: Relief Camps Now Open! 🧊

​We are proud to announce the launch of our Heatwave Relief Camp at the heart of Jacobabad City to help our community battle the rising temperatures.
​The camp was officially inaugurated by the Deputy Commissioner and Chairman DDMA Jacobabad. This initiative is led by CDF, under the direction of the District Government Jacobabad and with the vital support of the Start Network under the Heatwaves Anticipatory actions project district Jacobabad Sindh Pakistan
​📍 Location & Expansion
​Currently active at the Main Public Place, Jacobabad City. To ensure everyone's safety, CDF will soon establish more camps in:

​🛡️ Services & Facilities
​Our relief camps are equipped to provide immediate comfort and life-saving support during peak heat hours:
​💧 Hydration Station: Safe, cold drinking water and ORS (Oral Rehydration Salts) to combat dehydration.
​🌬️ Solar Air Coolers: Stay cool even during power outages with our solar-powered cooling systems.
​🛋️ Cooling Zone: A shaded, comfortable place for temporary stay during the hottest parts of the day.
​🚑 Medical Aid: First aid and specialized dehydration support for heatstroke patients.
​Stay safe and keep hydrated! If the sun gets too intense, head over to our camp for a break and a cool drink. 🌡️🚫

​ہمیں یہ بتاتے ہوئے خوشی ہو رہی ہے کہ جیکب آباد شہر کے مرکزی عوامی مقام پر ہیٹ ویو ریلیف کیمپ قائم کر دیا گیا ہے تاکہ شدید گرمی میں شہریوں کو ریلیف فراہم کیا جا سکے۔
​🏛️ باقاعدہ افتتاح
​اس ریلیف کیمپ کا باقاعدہ افتتاح ڈپٹی کمشنر اور چیئرمین ڈی ڈی ایم اے (DDMA) جیکب آباد نے کیا۔ یہ اقدام ضلعی حکومت جیکب آباد کی ہدایت اور اسٹارٹ نیٹ ورک (Start Network) کے تعاون سے سی ڈی ایف (CDF) کی جانب سے اٹھایا گیا ہے۔

​💧 پانی اور او آر ایس (ORS): صاف اور ٹھنڈا پینے کا پانی اور ڈی ہائیڈریشن سے بچاؤ کے لیے او آر ایس کی فراہمی۔
​🌬️ سولر ایئر کولر: بجلی کی لوڈ شیڈنگ کے دوران بھی ٹھنڈک کا احساس برقرار رکھنے کے لیے سولر ایئر کولرز کا انتظام۔
​🛋️ ٹھنڈی جگہ: شدید دھوپ اور تپش کے اوقات میں عارضی قیام کے لیے سائے دار اور ٹھنڈی جگہ۔
​🚑 طبی امداد: ہیٹ اسٹروک کے مریضوں کے لیے فرسٹ ایڈ اور ڈی ہائیڈریشن کے حوالے سے خصوصی طبی تعاون۔

​دادو، شهيد بينظير آباد، گهوٽڪي، خيرپور، نوشهرو فيروز، جيڪب آباد، لاڙڪاڻو ۽ سکر ۾ گرمي پد 49 ڊگري سينٽي گريڊ تائين وڃڻ جو امڪان ظاهر ڪيو ويو آهي. جڏهن ته ڪراچي ۾ موسم گرم رهڻ ۽ گرمي پد 35 کان 38 ڊگري سينٽي گريڊ جي وچ ۾ رهڻ جي توقع آهي.
​تمام ڊپٽي ڪمشنرن ۽ لاڳاپيل ادارن کي هدايت ڪئي وئي آهي ته هيٽ ويو بابت ايس او پيز (SOPs) تي سختيءَ سان عملدرآمد کي يقيني بڻايو وڃي. صوبائي حڪومت جي هدايتن تحت لاڳاپيل عملو الرٽ آهي ۽ ڪنهن به هنگامي صورتحال سان منهن ڏيڻ لاءِ مڪمل تيار آهي.

🌍 World Immunization Week: Day 5 Highlights💉
Together, we are building a healthier future for our children! 🛡️
On the 5th day of World Immunization Week, the Community Development Foundation (CDF), in partnership with Helpngo NGO and the Health Department Shikarpur, held a high-impact awareness session at UC Chak.
📍Event Highlights:Education on the vital importance of immunization to ensure every child in our community grows up protected from preventable diseases.
🚶‍♂️ Awareness Walk:
Following the session, the team and participants took to the streets for an Awareness Walk. By engaging directly with the community, we aim to turn information into action and ensure no child is left behind.
Vaccines bring us closer to a world where everyone, everywhere, has the chance to live a healthy life.

🛡️ مستقبل کی حفاظت: ایچ پی وی (HPV) ویکسینیشن مہم
ورلڈ ایمونائزیشن ویک (عالمی ہفتہ برائے حفاظتی ٹیکہ جات) کے موقع پر، CDF (IHHN) کی ٹیم نے محکمہ صحت کے تعاون سے تعلقہ گڑھی خیرو میں ایک خصوصی آؤٹ ریچ سرگرمی کا انعقاد کیا۔
ان علاقوں پر توجہ مرکوز کرتے ہوئے جہاں پہلے رسائی ممکن نہیں تھی، ہماری ٹیم نے مقامی برادری کے تعاون اور آگاہی مہم کے ذریعے ویکسینیشن کی کوریج کو یقینی بنایا۔ یہ مشن صحت کی سہولیات کی راہ میں حائل رکاوٹوں کو دور کرنے کے لیے مربوط کوششوں کی اہمیت کو اجاگر کرتا ہے۔

Big shifts happen when communities come together! For Day 4 of our World Immunization Week celebrations, the CDF Team Shikarpur, in partnership with Helpngo HELP NGO, hit the ground running to ensure no child is left behind.
We believe that vaccines aren't just medical tools—they are a shield for the next generation. Our team focused on a multi-layered approach today:
🏫 School Sessions: Educating students to be health ambassadors in their own homes.
🌙 Engaging Religious Leaders: Partnering with influential voices to build trust and dispel myths within the community.
👥 Community Sessions: Open dialogues to highlight the life-saving importance of routine immunization.
👩‍👦 Mother Sessions: Empowering moms with the knowledge they need to keep their little ones protected and healthy.
