HEALTH, EDUCATION & RURAL DEVELOPMENT (H.E.R.D), was incorporated in District D.I.Khan in Feb, 2011 with an objective of providing integra
ted services in the entire spectrum of development for uplift of the quality of life of the poor masses of Rural areas and specially in Health & Education fields,. Organization Aims & Objectives:
1) To create awareness and provide material guidance promoting Primary Health, Education, Hygiene, Sanitation, Civil, Social, Cultural and Human Rights to the valuable society in cell.
2) To Coordinate with Governmental and nongovernmental organizations to motivate the Womenfolk to participate in development and re-creative activities, and make them Self-reliant, self-sustainable and independent socially as well as financially.
3) To take steps for the betterment of people and development in the fields of environment, Agricultural, Drug Addiction and disability.
4) To increase literacy rate in the remote areas and to establish linkages among Government, Semi-government and private education institutions in formal and non-formal education, and also to develop the educational structure.
5) To work on poverty eradication program in collaboration with governmental and Non-governmental organizations/ institutions.
6) To establish free mobile medical clinic for deserving people in those remote areas where no health facilities are available.
7) To provide shelter / rehabilitation program to those who were affected by disasters.
8) To provide emergency relief through Ambulance and manpower from natural disaster.
9) To educate people and make Pakistan 100 percent literate.
10) To provide clean drinking water through water life program and creative awareness about clean drinking water.
