Case for Financial Assistance – Zarob Imran
Zarob Imran is an 8-year-old boy with a heart full of imagination. He loves acting, telling stories, and bringing characters to life through his expressions and performances. His recent diagnosis of B-ALL is especially heartbreaking for his family.
Zarob is the only child of his parents, who have always worked hard to provide for him despite limited means. His father earns a living through shuttering and carpentry work, while his mother has done teaching work on and off whenever opportunities allowed. Unfortunately, neither parent has had a steady source of income. Alongside Zarob’s treatment, the family is also burdened with rent, utility bills, and the responsibility of supporting another family member who is struggling with illness.
The family’s financial strain became so severe that they were compelled to sell their only bike to meet basic needs. In search of survival and support, Zarob’s father moved to Lebanon to work as a laborer on a contract basis. His income is uncertain and barely sufficient to cover ongoing medical expenses and household costs back home.
As we begin this year, Zarob and his family are holding on to hope, hope for healing, stability, and the chance for Zarob to return to a childhood filled with stories, play, and dreams.
