We also acknowledge the solidarity of the people of Pakistan 🇵🇰, whose support strengthens the resolve of Kashmiris and sends a clear message to the world: the struggle for justice cannot be ignored. 🌍

A report by the Institute of Voice of Victims examines the erosion of democratic principles in India. Under Modi's leadership, the rise of Hindutva and political extremism has systematically undermined institutions, suppressed dissent, and legitimized majoritarian rule. This shift has effectively replaced democracy with Modicracy—where power is concentrated in the hands of one individual rather than the people. Kashmir serves as a stark illustration, where militarization and disenfranchisement have eclipsed political consent. Furthermore, press freedom, civil liberties, and judicial independence are under siege, rendering India's claim to democracy increasingly hollow.

In Kashmir, New Delhi’s oppression has laid bare its claims of providing equal rights to the occupied territory

Republic Day means nothing without real democracy. India cannot celebrate constitutional pride while denying Kashmiris their right to self-determination. Flags and parades don’t erase curfews, mass arrests, or silenced voices.
A democracy that rules through repression exposes its own contradictions.
Kashmir is not a slogan. Kashmir is a people.
